Keydell Nurseries Water and Garden Nurseries, Horndean, Hampshire

Went today to this so called nursery will definitely not be going again unhelpful staff l ask for any trolleys was old to go get from outside unless trolleys for somebody like me who has walking problems and very u helpful staff all talking at cashpoint about Internet nothing to do with this nursery shouted at me to get my own trolley so unhelpful why do these people get away with this service l was going to spend a lot of money but left with nothing l will inform my friends not to go here

I was sold a decorative pot of 2 cyclamen, (1 of many on display), and I was unaware that there are no holes in the base - hence watering is impossible! When I contacted the nursery, I did not receive an apology for their inadequacy in potting, nor was I asked if it would be convenient to return it - the response was "JUST BRING IT BACK". The manager was just as unhelpful, and I would never visit there again if I unfortunately had not been given a gift voucher which I have not yet spent. I will make it known to the family that it is not worth another visit.

Visited Keydell, the size of the nursery and variety of products are immerse. Therefore expected the tea room to be of similar standard. How wrong could I be. The cakes looked sad and very unappealing, as did the hot food. Despite the hefty price of an egg mayonnaise sandwich encapsulated in a plastic container at £3:50 we took a chance. Biting into it revealed it was actually frozen. The assistant advised some packs were pushed to the back of the display fridge. I didn't think that response was acceptable and did get my money back. I would never visit again due to cost and quality of food.

It is very handy with a large car park-this is needed because it gets very busy at weekends. The Christmas shop has already opened! I will do some of my Christmas shopping here this year,as there is a good selection of general gifts, apart from Garden stuff. There should be an RAC sign, or a proper road sign, showing where this popular garden centre is located!

Keydell Nurseries Water and Garden Nurseries in Horndean, Hampshire is very well stocked, has a wide range of plants, tools and garden accessories etc. Worth a visit, a lot do. Average prices, some (a few) bargains, reasonable quality stock. Easy access for most (on a slope). Tea room if you need it.
