Roller Blinds

We went there for dinner today and the main problem (which has been since they built the extension) is the sun coming in through the window and blinding you, it can easily be solved by installing electric blinds individually controlled by a key switch either inside or outside the three windows .

Lovely Garden Centre And Cafe

The staff in the garden centre always go out of their way to help you. We have visited several times but on last visit we noticed the café area had been extended and there is now a butchers and delicatessen in place - very good choice and quality meat.

The food in the café itself is very good on the whole especially the cakes but one thing that could be improved is the coffee it is terrible, far too strong to drink. Originally you could ask for a milky coffee and it was one of the best places for a coffee but now the coffee is out of a machine which is a shame as the home made food and cakes are excellent.

We honestly can not remember any of this happening but we are very sorry if it did. We pride ourselves on our customer service and although we like to care for our regular customers, we are certainly not short sighted and always strive to gain new business and ensure the service which we provide will then subsequently keep them coming back for many years.

This year for the first time in around 3 to 4 years, we did raise our prices due to many factors. Firstly, we hadn't raised them in a long time, and yet the cost of products to us continues to increase. Secondly (and this applies mostly to delivery charges) fuel costs continue to rise meaning that regrettably, we have had to raise the cost of delivering our products, but only enough to cover fuel, we make no profit on this.

All of our turf is lifted by ourselves and occasionally human error takes its course and there will be an odd roll where it isn't exactly perfect, but we have never had a problem replacing any such rolls.

Honestly, we really would prefer it if you'd take up any complaints with us directly and give us a chance to address them. We are genuinely a friendly bunch and we'd hate to think that we had done our job badly. We're not B&Q and we do need and value every customer we have.

Lymefield Garden Centre Are Always Helpful And Fri

Lymefield Garden Centre are always helpful and friendly staff, you can browse get good advice, buy things for your home, garden, and/or gifts, and have a lovely lunch, what could be better. :)

the food is all home cooked and there is a good variety on offer, but remember to leave room for the yummy cakes.

the seasonal plants are always an inspiration, and the larger, more exotic items are on hand for those with larger gardens. the hanging baskets and bedding plants are also beautiful and plentiful in season.

the ornaments and gifts cover all price ranges, and some are quite unusual.

they also have the cards to go with the gifts to cover all occasions.

i love going to the garden centre, especially at christmas, it has a lovely atmoshpere.

a big thankyou to all the staff

I bought some bamboo in August 2007from Lymefield Garden Centre in Broadbottom and all of one particular variety have died. I have been trying since March 2008 to either get my money back or replacements. They make promises to ring back etc etc but never do. Still waiting!

The Lymefield Garden Center Is A Quality Place Wit

The Lymefield Garden Center is a quality place with a good range of plants and gardening equipment. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. The cafe is great with really good home cooked food. You can get plants which other larger garden centres just do not stock. It is also located in a really nice spot and offers a really quality experience. What a gem of a place!!
