Cannot Get It To Load
Cannot get AA Route Planner to load. The address bar tries to load but crashes. It works on my iPhone and Mac. Tried Google Chrome but still the same result. My iPads software is 12.5.7.

Too Complicated And Too Detailed
Cardiff to Llandudno has 3 pages, giving every turn and short cut to the next road change. All that cannot be coped with on your own, when driving is: A470 to Builth Wells, then A483 to A494 to Llandudno. About 3 waypoints in between would do
There should be a short version just to give the basic route to check, as you progress. All of the road names and roundabout names are impossible to read when driving. The Gallows roundabout in Romford does not have a sign saying that on it and most roundabouts are not named. Just make it simple and give alternative routes with simple waypoints, you can glance at.
I'm Glad It's Not Just Me!
Was hoping to find directions from Northampton to Empingham to visit Sykes beach at Rutland Water. USELESS!
Directed me as far as Kettering.
Doesn't Recognise Postcodes
The AA Routeplanner is useful sometimes but doesn't seem to recognise half the postcodes or addresses I put in.
We appreciate your feedback and hope that you have spoken to one of our live agents online about the issues you were having with some of the postcodes. If you haven't please get in touch via our website, we'll be more than happy to check these for you. Kind Regards

Waste Of Time
Don't be fooled with the map and all the indicators and signs. Road works at Scotch Corner which have been in place for some months completely missed off, major delays. UNRELIABLE.
Error In Finding

Still Great!
I haven't used any route planner for over 4 years now, but my sat nav went crazy the other day (or all the satellites were on strike) and I had no choice but to use a Route planner to get me and the family to a holiday cottage we'd booked (some way off the beaten track!). I'd used AA years ago so I thought I'd give it another go and it was still as good as it used to be. The direction were thorough and very detailed. I don't know what we'd have do if we had gone wrong, but luckily we didn't and the map reading arguments of old were avoided.
I still prefer the sat nav as plan A (for the safety net it gives you if things go wrong or you fancy making a detour), but it's good to know in the modern world we can still get along without them!
Getting Onto Site???
Entered AA route planner into search bar only to be offered advert after advert for OTHER route planners, can`t even find a site showing From and To to begin a search with AA,

Aa Route Planner Is Ok, Although I'm Not Sure How
AA Route planner is ok, although I'm not sure how it compares with the RAC one. For example, for the quickest route from my postcode (in Somerset) to a postcode London, one site sends you via the M4 whereas the RAC one sends you via the A303 and M3. How are we supposed to know how which is best? Also, I once noted that the AA route to a certain postcode from mine suggested a completely insane route out of my village to the main road - how do we know that other (less familiar)directions are not similarly stupid? That said, its generally a useful tool!

Aa Route Planners Are Very Detailed Which Is Great
AA route planners are very detailed which is great in theory. In practice however the details are often incorrect and have had me looking for roads that don't exist, turnung the wrong way down one way streets and even staying on the motorway longer than I should have.
This is not true if every time I have used an aa route however I am suprised at the number of times their routes have been inaccurate.
