Bowl Locking Mechanism Broke After A Few Months
The food processor itself does a good job and looks good but unfortunately the bowl handle/ locking mechanism broke after only a few months of normal use which means the food processor doesn't work any more and I am having a job to find a replacement and I haven't got one yet.

It Is A Very Stable And Strong Food Processor That
It is a very stable and strong food processor that allows you to prepare any dough (bread, pizza, pasta..) with little effort. You can put the ingredients in the mixer and get on with other duties while it does the mix for you. It looks cool and it is quite decorative (mine is red). You have to make sure that you understand in which order to mix liquid and solid ingredients or it all gets stuck at the bottom. I was disappointed that they do not even add a short receipe book, considering that the food processor does not come cheap. Also, the instructions are sooo american when they name different preparations and give mesurements, I find it a little confusing.
My Old Food Mixer Died After 42 Years Of Use, Not
My old food mixer died after 42 years of use, not bad, but I really wanted a more efficient one so I did a bit of research and found the Kitchenaid Artisan 5KFPM770. What a machine, it is quite heavy so it has to stay on the worksurface but it is beautiful looking. Mine is Red, but you can get lots of other colours, about 12 I think. I bought it about 2 weeks ago, so am still learning about it, but since then I have baked two cakes, mixed pastry and whisked merangues and mashed potato, so I have done a fairly good test on it. I have found it brilliant at all of these, I have had the lightest mashed potato ever. Very stable, easy to use and beautiful. The big paddle does all the hard work, the whisk does merangues/sponges etc and the dough hook, well does dough. The cookbook you have to send to Belgium for after you buy the machine, but it is a hardback book and has some lovely recipes in it.
I found this review helpful because...she mentioned what she actually made using the machine.
