Regret Buying This Model
Bought this mower in March 2011 after moving to a property in 0.75 acre.
Pricewise it was competitive against John Deere etc. Since 2011 I have had a broken wheel, problems engaging the blade and poor cutting performance. It is also very noisy with a lot of vibration when I can engage the blade (the blade has been balanced)
Bearing in mind their reputation I am disappointed and which I had paid the extra for a John Deere

I Have Owned My Hayter M10/30 For About Nine Years
I have owned my Hayter M10/30 for about nine years, and I would not be surprised if it lasts another nine years. It is a very tough machine. I have almost two acres of grounds, which includes areas of paddock, an orchard and various, frequently overgrown pathways, and lawn. It has never failed to cut badly overgrown areas - if driven slowly on a high cut, and is ideal for tight turns around trees, and for driving into tight corners. I do not think it is an expensive machine at all, considering the excellent service it gives.
