The Ivy Terrace Restaurant, Kalkan, Turkey

a real boost for the girls whith good food

WE discovoured this wonderful roof top restaurant, THE IVY, on the third day of our week holiday. We visited it two further times during our holiday. The food was great, good selection of both Turkish and other world cuisines. We have two 'fussy' eaters aged 6 and 9 years and they both liked the childrens section of the menu and they very nearly cleaned their plates. The service was wonderful, we were greeted by a lovely Turkish woman who guided us upstairs and were greeted by Hakan the restaurant owner and attentive host. The waiter was great with the children and his service was carefully directed by Hakan. We could't fault the food, service or price of the meal and would happily recommend THE IVY to other people.

We loved this place.very good meal,view is fab..service perfect..what else we need..music best and too much to say about IVY.highly recommended.

Recently travelled to Kalkan and dined at The Ivy, The service was fine, the food came out presented superbly but! and there is one, both my self and partner suffered from food poisoning. We were not the only couple to eat at this restaurant and also be ill the very next day.

The Ivy Terrace Restaurant, Kalkan, is the best restaurant in town.food is really delicious and seems everything is well organized.staff is so frendly.view is beautiful,watch the boats is coming in and out.price seems cheaper than last year and worth every penny.I enjoy everyt me -every meal and every even ng in IVY restaurant.What more we can say just excellent even the restrooms.good luck IVY people have another 10& more succesfull years.

We jsut love the The Ivy Terrace Restaurant, Kalkan. The whole staff are just great. The food is to die for. There are so many great places to eat in kalakn but I think this is one of the best. Cannot wait to return. Great food and service. Can be a bit on the pricey side.

Food is decent - desserts better than main courses. However the menu seems quite similar to other restaurants in Kalkan and there are far better views from other terraces. (Lykia, Daphne, The Trading House)

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this one. I think there are more special restaurants out there (try the harbour front ones). If you are looking for a romantic setting on a Terrace, try either the IBO, The Lykia, or the Trading House. Also, for more authentic food and lovely Terrace- try the Olive Garden.

Best restaurant in Kalkan, I went back twice. Good food, incredibly friendly staff, food brought out when wanted, good value for money, nice atmosphere, beautiful view.

The atmosphere, food, hospitality, are wonderful and you really feel as though you are treating yourself whenever you visit. As well as a regular restaurant they also have great entertainment nights. It is well worth getting yourself on their mailing list to find out what is on. There is a fabulous Sultan's corner where you can have a pre dinner drink, it is so romantic and spell binding.

The Ivy boasts a blend of old and new within its classical yet contemporary surroundings. The elegant and intimate setting of the restaurant creates a truly memorable experience. With the bustling town below, the restaurant offers a relaxed and refined dining experience. The Ivy ' s success lies in the hands of it ' s owners Ozan Eroglu and Ziya Sar kaya who are looking forward to welcoming guests and friends in 2008.
