I've been using Avon for years. I wouldn't say all their products are the best in the world but I've never had anything that was awful, and their prices are always low because everything seems to be on special offer all the time.

I've places maybe 20 orders online and have received 2 that have been wrong, one had a missing item which they promptly sent to me with no hassle, and one (which I had this morning) has a wrong item in it. I don't forsee any problems exchanging it though.

They just missed out on 5 stars because of the 10% 'wrong order' rate.

I ordered some stuff through a Avon Representative, and whilst the stuff I ordered was good, it wasn't fantastic. A few days ago i got a message from the avon rep asking me if I wanted the new brochure. I didn't reply as I was quite busy and thought I look into it a bit later. Less than two days later I received a message from the same avon rep saying "Thanks for replying to my message, a simple no thanks would have sufficed, you didn't have to get into a conversation!"

To say I was shocked and disgusted says the least! I contacted Avon head office and forwarded them a copy of the messages and informed the avon rep that I had forwarded her "Delightful message to head office" only to get a message back saying "Whatever!!"

Then an hour later another one saying "I'll just tell them you are a petty individual who has got into a huff as I have been trying to drum up business!"

I then received an email from Avon head office stating that as Avon Representatives are self employed they are unable to get involved in the running of their business but they will forward my complaint to the area manager for their attention.

Avon are absolutley disgusting in their customer service. I have worked in customer service and sales all my life and I have never experienced such a low level of customer services from a company in all my life!

I will never use Avon again! Nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. You are better off going to a proper shop such as Boots if you want good service.
