Chain Reaction Cycles Sold Me A Defective Bike Frame And Now

I bought a Ragley bike frame on Chain Reaction Cycles. The frame had a factory defect, unsuitable for use. I sent a warranty claim, but it's been more than three weeks and I still haven't received a reply! Every time they promise to answer later! The disgusting Chinese quality of the Ragley frame and the disgusting service of Chain Reaction Cycles!

Faulty Bike, Poor Repair, Awful Sevice

Bought a Gt Gtr Comp that was sent to me really badly set up, they asked me to take it to a local companies for repair, they bike shops both said there was something weird going inside for the cabling, it took over a month for CRC to collect the bike, then 3 weeks to get the bike back, when it came back it was worse than before with damage to the frame, forks and they didn’t even send the pedals back. They offered me £50 cash back and a set of BMX pedals as compensation, I asked them to collect the bike and refund me, it was collected a week later then 5 days later it came back again, it’s taken nearly three months, about 40 emails ,10 Live chats And waiting in three days for a delivery too solve a problem for a bike that was sent to me faulty, which they had admitted. Not once have I had a proper apology, just a sorry for the late response from them which happened every single time, go elsewhere, I cannot stress that enough.

I have made an order recently with a 5 day delivery option. After 5 days, I tried to contact Chain Reaction and apparently the only method available is to send an email (no phone number available). After few hours, I received an email saying that they were going to investigate the order. After other 3 days I sent another message and I received the same standard answer. How long does it take to check an order? This morning I checked my account again and I discovered that my order has been cancelled. I understand the difficult times we are all in, but you can't treat new customers like this. I will never use this company again!

Non dispatched Items - No satisfaction from CRC

Recently ordered 3 items from CRC. One item arrived as part delivery. The remainder did not arrive despite my having received dispatch notification email with a tracking number included.

I checked the tracking number with the delivery company but they had NO MATCHING NUMBER.

Trying to contact CRC was difficult as their chat system seems to be usually in UNAVAILABLE status, and on those rare occasions when it is AVAILABLE it is usually BUSY and when I was finally able to get access it took quite a while to progress in the queue.

I did eventually get through and the CRC operator told me to fill out a 'lost in the post form'. which he emailed to me. The form was in a proprietary format so I was unable to open it. Next day he sent the form as an email and I duly completed it. I did not receive any prompt response and when I emailed a status enquiry next day the same operator told the form was not filled in correctly as I had not signed it. I should mention here that I am only temporarily at this address and have no access to to printer or scanner. I explained this to the CRC operator, and also sent him the original dispatch email I had received from CRC with the item tracking number, and also a link to the delivery company's tracking facility where CRC could verify that they had not in fact really dispatched the item at all. No response from CRC.

The whole episode has been very frustrating and aggravating for me.

Thankfully the items in question were not of great financial value. I have learned that

1. CRC's dispatch processes are problematic (items not sent)

2. CRC does not seem to understand it's own dispatch process (unable to verify dispatch locally with tracking number).

3. CRC has zero interest in resolving the problems that it causes (customer obliged to do all the investigation and declare they are not a thief)

4. CRC is very comfortable in alienating customers ( unhelpful ad slow-or-non-responding staff)

I won't be using or recommending CRC again.

Worst Company Ever

I have been waiting for an order for over 2 weeks and I find out that they have cancelled it by going on to their chat. this person called Ami advised my order is cancelled and then cut my conversation when I was demanding an excuse.

Counterfeit & Knock Off Parts Being Shipped

DO NOT ORDER FROM CHAIN REACTION CYCLE! THEY ARE SHIPPING COUNTERFEIT & KNOCK OFF PARTS!!

I believe they shipped me 2 counterfeit items! First was a set of supposedly Chromag Contact peddles which stripped both my crank arm and the peddles themselves. Second, were a set of Schwable Nobby Nic tires which would not mount tubeless on my rims.

They sent me an email to review the items, which I did unfavorably. Then would not post my reviews saying they did not meet their requirements for review. I have emailed them several times now with no response.

Let this be a warning, I have learnt my lesson.

Hard To Beat For Price And Fast Delivery.

I have used CRC for years for bike parts. I do all my own repairs and my friends bikes as well. CRC manage to beat almost everyone on price and deliver fast. Really good.

It Was In Stock When I Placed The Order

these guys Suck the items were in stock when I ordered it but when the items never arrived they told me it was back ordered. I paid for 2 day shipping and they never sent it. don't do business with them they are liars!!!

Inaccurate Total Pricing. Free Does Not Mean Free

My main beef about CRC is their use of the word FREE on shipping. If you live in the USA don't be surprised if

you get a bill from DHL that is passed due because CRC deferred the customs duty tax. If CRC was more up front about the custom duty and informed you of the responsibility to pay this tax it would make your decision to use CRC more informed. Yeah they have cheap stuff, but don't let the FREE on shipping lure you in. Its not free at all. Stick to Price Point, Nashbar or some other domestic supplier for the USA.

Got Exactly What I Asked For In Good Time

I ordered a pair of runners from CRC as they had the best price on the internet and free delivery. After I ordered them, I read some really negative reviews about their delivery and how things didn't arrive so I began to worry that my shoes wouldn't arrive. Well, I needn't have because they arrived within 10 days as promised, with international shipping tracking showing the entire journey. They were exactly what I ordered and I couldn't be happier. I have had a great experience with CRC so 5 stars to them!
