It Would Be Great Apart From Bottom Dribble

Some lovely people, some great events and some superb advice, all freely given by folk who really know their stuff.

I would have stayed there forever, but for one idiot known as "Bottom Dribble".

He's either some form of super-troll, some sad pathetic keyboard warrior or just a total loser- He stirs the smelly stuff for no reason other than to offend and wind up one or two individuals, and when he enters a thread, it's a bit like a tramp with faeces on his shoe entering the cosy bar at your local pub.

It's sad, but he really ruins the whole place, and that's the reason I'm out.

So Glad

I'm so happy I found this site, from it I found that my 2005 BMW 1150GSA SE was almost worthless. Luckily a friendly chap on the website took it off my hands for £1500, I'm so glad I joined now or I could have been left with a worthless piece of junk.

Give It A Chance

The most annoying site on the web, why? because once you've got involved and actually contributed rather than just join to ask questions or to sell your bike/bits then there's no leaving. Of course there's people who will get on your nerves but get beyond the online persona you'll never know a better bunch.

Paying For A General Forum

You have to pay to simple post, the advantage though is that you can sell your stuff on there to folk with more money than sense, after all, it's a BMW. They will pay over the top for stuff so it's not too long before you get the extortionate fee back.

There are quite a few that have travelled the UK on their bikes and then overnight become Euan McGregor or Charlie, and then have all the wisdom to pass it on to the younger folk, anyone under 90 is classed as younger.

If you like comparing egos then this is the site for you, but I hasten to add, there are a lot of helpful lads and lasses in the "club" so it's not all that bad.

And don't forget to mention that you have the latest BMW riding gear that under no circumstances should it get wet, after all, it cost you a coule of grand.

And finally, what's better than touring the streets with the ultimate grand tourer with large sandwich boxes on the back filled with nothing more than sandwiches and hot air....

Ukgser Is Not Only A Bike Site, Ask A Question Abo

UKGSer is not only a bike site, ask a question about almost anything and someone from its very knowledgeable membership will know the answer.

Warning, it can become addictive though.

Can Make You A Bit Neurotic Worrying About When Yo

Can make you a bit neurotic worrying about when your bike is going to go belly up with one of the faults others have posted. But there is an absolute wealth of knowledge to get you back on the road when the worst does happen.

There are cliques and some real handbags at dawn scratching your eyes out stuff but it is usually confined to the pub so you can avoid the worst of it.

If you have a GS this is the site for you. You can try before you buy (subscribe) so give it a go.

Very Much A Site For The Regular " In Crowd " Who

Very much a site for the regular " In Crowd " who think they know all there is to know, they don`t! Newcomers and people who question the regular contributors are often belittled and sometimes ridiculed for asking seemingly obvious questions. There is some useful info on trips and lodging in europe etc but if your asking a technical question you`d be far better off searching ADV Rider Wisdom in the US.

I Really Hate This Site, It Has Stolen My Life.

I really hate this site, it has stolen my life.

No, sorry, that's wrong.

I love this site, but hate the way it has stolen my life. Plus it has now started to take over my holiday time as well, I end up going to odd places where other UKGSers just happen to be.

Is this wrong? I think I may need professional help.

However, I might just post that on the site. I'm sure there must be someone on the site who's a psychiatrist. Psycho something, anyway.
