I had balmain tape in hair extensions fitted and honestly for the money I have spent on these products they are not worth it at all. I will never buy these products again, I was told these were one of the best which is why I paid the extra money for them, but the first few weeks of having them in was fine, then after washing them and trying to dry them the hair matted together in a ball, they looked like a pile of dreadlocks attached to my head, it took over 2 hours just to brush the hair out, every time I get up and walk my hair would just matte together I have needed up brushing my hair almost 20 times a day just to get the knots out and that is stupid. It’s annoying and shouldn’t be happening , they no longer feel like real hair, and when my hair extensions lady contacted balmain all they said was basically the aftercare wasn’t good enough, and they only excuse not given was that the quality of the hair is just no good. I will never buy this product ever again and I urge anyone else not to bother with this hair.

Awful Quality
Avoid, I've had Balmain for years never really had any issues until recently. I had a batch in which matted after 2 washes, the quality has changed and it matts straight away and goes in a knotty bush if I have it curly. I had to have it replaced and the same thing happened again. I only get my hair washed at Balmain salons however they are trying to blame heat damage when I haven't done anything different and won't issue me a refund or deal with my directly. The hair is so bad after only 5 weeks I'm having to have this hair taken out and pay to have beauty works extensions in. The hair quality of balmain is appalling a complete matted mess, avoid like the plague as any issues they will try to blame everything but their hair.
So happy to see this review. Balmain sent mine for testing after so matted I couldn’t go out and had to take out myself. They said it was the product or left wet also had taken out and refitted in Dubai, this was high end reputable salon., one big excuse as had extensions for over 6 years this was rubbish, they said it was an independent outside inspection, but who paid for this inspection! The fact that paying a lot for their shampoo and conditioner I believe ruined my hair. The product always left my hair feeling dry and matted, need I say more!

Tangled
Third time using these and they are the only brand my air dresser if 15 years uses. I am now changing my hairdresser as I want extensions but not these!
Lovely to begin and very soft, shiny and smooth however soon deteriorated. I bought balmain shampoo, conditioner and detangler also a balmain brush but there are still very tangled, coarse and brittle. I even put my hair in anooose pony for bed to no avail. Spent a lot of money to forever have my hair tied back it looks so bad! Will try another brand

Never Again
I had my balmain extensions put in about a month ago. The bonds are terrible. Every time i wash my hair the bonds lower down and i can litrally pull down the strands with my hands. I have to go to my hairdresser every week to bond the ones that fell back up. In a month i lost about 20 strands. I have used other brans before and usually in 6 months only about 3 fall off. Im so angry at myself for wasting money on these terrible extensions.

Worst Clip In Extensions I Ever Bought!!
The worst hair extensions ever! Even the Barbie dolls hair I had for 20 years didn't tangle and turn into coarse hair like these clips in Belmain extensions. I would stick to Remy, Indian or Brizilian but never ever tempt this product !!!
What a let down!!!

Do Not Approche Balmain Hair Extensions
Good Day
I would like to add my very disappointment from the Balmain (additional hair) wig Balmain supplied to the stylist for my wife
After adding the a.m. wig to my wife's hair, (after one month) hairs from the wig start to drop and fall.
After complaining to Balmain representative, he agreed to replace the wig but the same happened after one month again
Now Balmain representative agreed to refund us, which means that we pay for a very good quality as promised but we received a very poor quality.
The refund is not enough, what about all the payment we have played the stylist during the a.m. period, and all the bad filling, all the aggravation, and the sorrow, that was caused to my wife felt when the hair was falling in public.
We were forced to replace Balmain wig with another companies' wig and to add a great deal of money

My Hair Broke Off With Each Extension
I'm so sorry that I did not read these reviews before I had my Balmain extensions done! I would not have polka dots of hair loss all over my head. Most of the extensions broke off within a couple weeks. Now instead of fuller hair I have thinner hair. It is hard to believe that the 5* reviews are genuine clients of a salon. Could be that these are women with very thick hair. For anyone with fine hair: stay away from Balmain extensions! My only hope is that the broken off hair - if it grows back - will grow back thicker. There was a hair popping craze ages ago where your hair was pulled so the roots got a shock and your hair doubled in volume. I never tried that before, but my best hope is that this will be the result in all those broken off spots.

Q&A
I'm new to the world of extensions and Balmain. I recently had the double wear wefts, which I love, but the bonds keep slipping and I have to keep calling my hairdresser back on a weekly basis. Is this normal? To be fair she put the wefts in as a favour because she normally does the individual bonds and explained she hadn't trained to do the wefts. Could she be putting them in wrong? Am I doing something wrong, or is this something that happens?
