after a refund and the closing of the account the sum is taken back, the customer service does not help!!! stay away from epoch!!!!

Just received two emails from this company, about services that have nothing to do with me. One was a receipt and the other was a refund. Emailed Epoch to let them know it isn't me. Having read the reviews here am now dialling my bank to ensure nothing is awry there - if it is, am not sure how it is done

I just received 4 fraudulent charges from this site. I never lost my credit card and had it on me when these charges showed up. I don't know how they do it, but they seem to allow merchants who are vulnerable to them. They are now in dispute. They don't do enough to prevent the them from using stolen credit cards.

Stole £34 out of my bank for no reason whatsoever. Please avoid at all costs

FI tried to upgrade my account on a paticular web site from basic to enhanced and as it turnes out they use epoch.com for there CC proccesing. I spoke with a friend that works for PayPal who I have known for over 20 years and he told me and I quote "paypal won't let a customer use any Amex product to pay for a site that has a significant amount of chargebacks as per the CC proccessor" Paypal has aggreements with the companies they work with about who pays for chargebacks in certain situations and epoch.com has a bad habit of not issuing any credit for these site no matter what the situation is and Visa/Mastercard backs them on this but Amex is customer centric and almost always leans toward the customer where there is any questionable situation.  There support is some guy who doesnt give a poo and basicall said as much. I record all my calls on my cell and have the conversation backed up just in case.

A couple weeks ago. I signed up for an MMO. The MMO uses Epoch as they payment handler for their subscription service. Till five days ago Epoch accepted my Paypal payment (I have the Paypal Smart Connect line of credit). Then suddenly they started declining the payment.

When I contact them today they told me to make sure there was sufficient funds.

I still have funds available.

Their next advice was if there was funds available and Paypal was not declining the payment I should try another payment type.

Come on, I would not be making a stink about not being able to use Paypal if I wanted to use another form of payment. I use my Smart Connect line of credit for these things so I don't have to give the company my credit or debit card information.

Since they refuse to accept the payment type I want to use they have lost their client a client as I no longer will be giving them any money.

This EPOCH.COM has taken money from my account without my consent!!!! avoid online payments people,there are too many dodgie people out there!!

Against my better judgement I used the service for a payment to an adult site brazzers, read the t & c and cancelled any further payments with no issues. 2 weeks later I have 1k of fraud on my credit card. The card was brand only recently changed and not used for anything apart from amazon. Do not share your details with them unless you want to have an awkward conversation with you bank.

they stole from me 77 dollars, from a pre paid visa,

i paid membership to some adults website 70 dollars, they charged everything i had in my card (77 dollars)

lucky it was just a pre paid visa, but still its not the first time

they stole from me another time 50 dollars

they also have terrible costumer service, very rude , with lots of lies

i think the owner is on meth/heroine

This company has been charging without my consent for a few months. Support numbers don't connect. This is sickening, I have to cancel my card.
