Has absolutely amazing experience taking my CBT on the day. He has made it such a great fun that even the horrible weather couldn't ruin it!

Excellent Training Centre
Excellent and friendly instructors who helped guide me through from the gear-conversion course to my full license via their 4-day DAS course.
I had a number of instructors who were all very professional and knowledgable. The people behind the desk were always polite and helpful.
I would recommend this centre for any motorbike training.

Great Experience With Nlmt
Great experience taking my CBT through MOD1 and MOD2 test with NLMT. All the reception team are great, friendly and make sure you are on time for everything. The instructors were brilliant. Passed MOD1 and MOD2 first time, but mainly down to their rigour and tuition.
Thank you Team NLMT.

Cbt And Das Course For A Licence
After a 35 year gap NLMT were patient and supportive in getting me from nothing through CBT to a full A licence. They even found a way to get me to turn my indicators off on the Mod 2 test.

Excellent Friendly Service And Trainers.
Passed my Mod1 and Mod2 first attempt with the help from NLMT trainers. I found the trainers to be very helpful and all trainers in NLMT were very forthcoming with ideas to improving my technique.
The booking process for the course via their helpful administrators were very accomodating to my needs for a shorter bike and the required dates.
Thanks to the person I dealt with for getting me through the initial training and focusing on my negetive points.
You can't go wrong with these guys at NLMT, excellent bunch of people.

Good And Honest Service
I´ve been several times at NLMT in the last 12 months for several reasons and I could only describe it as knowledgeable staff at all levels with honest service and pricing.
WORKSHOP: Visited the workshop a few times with a Yamaha I didn’t buy from them, but I still always received a great service. First time I went, my bike had been stolen so it had the handlebar misaligned. Previously in a Yamaha dealer they quoted me around £200 (easy job but loads of hour and specific tools I don’t have). The guy at NLMT was very knowledgeable and saw the bike, took it for a ride and aligned it in the “hard” way, which worked great and he didn´t charge at all! I couldn’t be happier! Second time I went to replace the fork seals and the job took way more than expected, so they gave me a replacement bike for 2 days so I could go to work (a vespa 250gt I really enjoyed and appreciated). At the end they charged less hours they spent, and the bike was perfectly repaired. In top of that they helped me to diagnose a problem with the bike so I could fix it myself. Very honest guys.
TRAINING: I did my DAS course (4 day) and passed the first time, both mod1 and 2 on the 4th day (phew!). They bike was new and had ABS, and I borrowed some boots which I didn’t have back then. I had three different instructors (all very competent in their own way), overall I liked the sessions and how they focused on the different areas to prepare you for the test. However, I would say I liked more the approach of the week instructors (can’t remember their name) rather than weekend one. They were more relaxed and instructions seemed more consistent than during the weekend, I guess it´s because those guys are there 5 days a week and they have more practice?... Anyway, 5* training and totally recommended!
PARTS: I bought several parts for my bike for self-repair and price and deliver was always perfect, and they guy was always very helpful recommending different options, etc.
STAFF: from everyone at the reception, workshop, owners and instructors they were all very nice, friendly and helpful in their different departments. You always feel welcome to go and have a cup of tea and chat with them.

Thank You To Everyone At Nlmt!
I got my A2 license through NLMT this month, thanks to the help of the fantastic staff there!
I had four instructors, a different one on each day of training I had. I was worried at first that having different instructors could mean conflicting or repeated information. However all four were excellent teachers and NLMT seem to have a good system where by they make notes on your progress for the next instructor.
All the staff at the office were great, very cheerful and positive when I turned up at 8:30am feeling nervous! I am not a morning person and I struggle to feel positive before 9:30am, meeting such cheerful and encouraging people certainly helped!
NLMT are obviously very busy, they have many instructors and seem to do a lot CBTs (I didn't do my CBT here, I already had an A1 license that I was upgrading). With such a lot of trainees coming and going and different instructors each day it would have been easy for everything to feel very impersonal, but somehow everyone and NLMT managed to make me feel like they were really interested in my progress and like I was an important person to them, not just another trainee out of the hundreds they must see each month! Well done to you all at NLMT as this really made a difference and I don't think it can be easy when you see so many students!
Anything to improve? Well nothing specifically to you, but all motorcycle training companies use radios and I struggle to hear instructions with the static and the background noise. I have an Interphone Bluetooth intercom I use with a friend and this is also what the examiners have taken to using - the clarity when compared to radios is startlingly good; no static and virtually no background noise! I know they are a lot more expensive though!!
Thank you to everyone at NLMT, I really enjoyed training with you and I am overjoyed to get my A2 license!
