When We Wanted To Buy A Mountfield 725m Ride-on Mo
When we wanted to buy a Mountfield 725M Ride-on Mower of the Mountfield website, itproudly displays a customer testimonial stating 'I ordered online and the mower was delivered at 1500 the same day!'. Ours wasn't.
We waited the best part of a week and then the dealership said they couldn't deliver before the weekend as they had a show on and were short-handed back at the store but said they might be able to deliver that Saturday if they could 'get around to it'
I popped out for an hour with my daughter and hey presto, they'd tried to deliver (without having let me know first) and obviously found the house empty.
We cancelled the order.
I think you're right, funny how people write reviews of products they've never even taken delivery of - very strange!
The same has happened to us with our local dealer. They said they would get one in for us to look at in a few days. Two weeks later it hadn't arrived. When we rang up they said it had been sold to someone else. They have ordered another which will take another month.! Needless to say we are going elsewhere. (The model was different from the one here)
I found this review not helpful because..there is no idea of its use!!.
I'm afraid this customer is in error. The only products available from any garden machinery supplier with a short delivery time are walk behind mowers and hand held products. Tractor's and ride-on-mowers need to be serviced and prepared before the dealer books an appointment to deliver it to the customer. I suspect nothing would have satisfied this customer.
Q&A
When I lower the cutting deck the machine wont move forward but is still cutting. As soon as i lift the deck the mower starts moving forward. Is there any issue with the belt?
Where can I find a manual?
