I Recently Decided To Invest In A Custom-built Pc
I recently decided to invest in a custom-built PC and opted to go through Chillblast, hoping for a smooth and reliable transaction given their reputation in the market. However, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
After eagerly placing my order and spending over £2500, I initially appreciated the weekly updates on the build progress for the first two weeks. However, this communication abruptly ceased, leaving me in the dark for the subsequent two months. Despite patiently waiting, I had to proactively reach out to the company for any updates, only to be met with excuses about parts acquisition delays.
The breaking point came when I received an email stating that my order had been canceled due to a supposed breakdown in Chillblast's finance partner. This not only wasted two months of my time but also left me scrambling to recover my deposit. The entire ordeal required navigating through a labyrinth of communications with Chillblast, Novuna Finance, and my bank, just to reclaim what was rightfully mine.
In hindsight, I deeply regret not heeding the warning signs evident in other customers' experiences, which echoed my own frustrations. Chillblast's failure to fulfill their end of the bargain and their lack of accountability paint a grim picture of their business ethics. They've proven themselves to be nothing short of a sham company, and I implore anyone considering purchasing from them to proceed with extreme caution.
For those seeking a reliable alternative, I wholeheartedly recommend exploring competitors such as PC Specialist. Not only did they deliver on their promises promptly, but their efficiency and professionalism stand in stark contrast to the chaos I endured with Chillblast. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Chillblast – you'll thank yourself later.

Customer Service Either Lies Or Does Not Reply!
My PC has spent 2 days sitting in their warehouse (apparently, all boxed up and ready to go but.... that is why they claim).
Phoned them up and they blamed DPD for not having "room in the van they sent and apparently this happens often". Passing the buck is not a good way to do business. Was DPD also to blame for it taking over 2.5 weeks to actually get built too?
Specifications changed a bit while I was waiting for them to build the PC, but not once did they send an updated list of specifications. I emailed them countless times asking for an update but DPD probably took all their email servers or something.
So, tomorrow is Friday and not looking like it's getting delivered... so probably nothing now until Monday. They we can play "spot the lies" on the phone and "unanswered" to all my emails for another week.
Seriously, avoid them as they are overpriced and unreliable. If they are terrible at customer service when ordering... just imagine if you have an issue with the PC after it's delivered.... holy expletive, that would be bad!
Go to box or overclockers. Hell, even CyberPC have a better rating on Trustpilot than Chillblast!

Substandard Qc And Non Customer Service
I Purchased next day computer and the dvd drive wouldn't work. Website FAQs say cable may have disconnected in transit.
Not if they flaming well haven't put one there in the first place as was the case.
Non customer service says I'll get you one sent overnight. No overnight it goes on Royal Mail 3 day delivery.
Still not arrived 5 days after calling.
Can't believe how rubbish the service and quality control is. Hoping the product if I ever get the right parts will be better.
Awful experience.

Super Service .prompt Delivery
This is the second computer that we have had from this company.
Our old one was going slow after being used daily since its purchase from Chillblast in 2011.
We called the company for an update of a new one.
They could not have be more helpful.
It was soon ready, and also before the estimated delivery date.
We were new to windows 10,but once we contacting the company they easily talked us through the new system.
We would not hesitate to recommend this company.
We say... This is service at its best

Meltdown After Win10 'upgrade'
Chillblast Win 7 Laptop ?. Windows 10 download found to be useless, tried to rollback to 7 =failure, supplied Chillblast discs loaded Win7 but supplied driver disc for Win 8 only. Contact with 'support' was either slow, non-existent or wrong.
Was in the market for another Laptop, despite rave reviews Chillblast = NO CHANCE.

Excellent Customer Service
I bought a pc from Chillblast a long time ago and was impressed with the service and the incredible price. Seven years later I've finally got round to upgrading. After trying as lot of sites I ended up with Chillblast again. They weren't the cheapest necessarily this time around but this time they didn't disappoint. Despite quite specific requirements they were able to meet my needs and offer a discount that made them the most competitive. The major plus point though was the quality of service throughout. From initial sales, through to delivery and after-sales support, the company offer a very personable experience. To top it all the build-quality is excellent. I'm really struggling this time to come up with any negatives which is a first for me. They even delivered ahead of schedule and when the sales person hoped they would.
The best pc manufactures around as far as I'm concerned, and I can be quite tricky to please!

Chillblast Fusion Uzi
I purchased a Fusion Uzi from Chillblast around a year ago. This was my first PC and Chillblast have proven to be an excellent company to buy from. The PC's aren't the cheapest around but they do provide excellent quality and service. Around eight month after I originally purchased my PC I had an issue with a faulty motherboard. After a few quick emails my PC was back in the workshop being repaired. There was some very minor damage done to the casing in this time however the entire case was replaced free of charge. The support staff are excellent and provide honest feedback about possible improvements to your rig during the build process without being pushy with sales. I originally opted for a GTX TITAN, however after speaking to a member of their sales team about what kind of usage I would get from the PC he recommended a GeForce GTX 980 which immediately shaved a couple £100 off the overall cost of my PC. All in all if you have knowledge of PC hardware there are cheaper options available to you. If you want no fuss and confidence that your PC will work right out of the box then Chillblast is the way to go!

Modification Were Expensive And Slow Delivery
Having read an article on Chillblast Kestrel on expertreviews.co.uk I decided to invest in a new desktop against my better judgement. My first disappointment came when having followed the recommended customisations based on that review it worked out £100 more than they had stated. expertreviews.co.uk managed to build it for £900 but even after several tries mine came to over £1000.
I went ahead and bought it expecting it to arrive within 10 working days. Chillblast's website state up to 10 working days. It arrived 15 WORKING days later. My emails were responded to politely and promptly but no explanation as to why I had been waiting for three weeks. They charged £30 delivery on top.
The supplied keyboard and mouse were very cheap and nasty taking up two of the four USB 2 slots available. Considering the specifications of the my new machine they needn't have bothered supplying such rubbish as it just fuelled my annoyance.
I needed a powerful computer for video and photo editing but know very little about computers. Even though I had paid £30 extra for Windows optimisation, I noticed that everything was being put on the SSD and not the HDD. Had to watch videos on YouTube to work out how to put things on the HDD but even then I think I've got it wrong.
This is the second computer I have bought from Chillblast in as many years. The first one took much longer to arrive than expected also but that was ordered in December. It was a present but arrived in January . I chalked that up to it being Christmas. This desk top was ordered in February and it still took ages to arrive. I didn't cancel due to it being a custom build and the restocking fee.
I also have to find space for the bulky box for two years as they charge extra if you have to return it without the box. I hope I don't ever have to return it because I've got a feeling that I won't see it for months!!!

Chillblast Fusion Probe
Purchased a Fusion Probe Desktop PC (without the periferals)about a month ago after reading a lot of reviews. I wanted to replace my ageing 3 year old unit with a good gaming machine. i wanted it to be quiet and fast and that's what I got. Fantastic, I'm very please.
I had a few noob questions that Chillblast were very helpful with, mostly about the Windows 8.1 operation system that I had not used before (my choice by the way).
Delivery was on time and the computer was well packaged.
For gaming I would recommend the 250GB SSD, and the GTX 780 options. The system starts very quickly, it's quiet and games run on max graphic settings without any problems.
Good company with good Kit. Highly recommended.
I will be back in another 2/3 years to get the next generation.
