Viator Airport Transfer - www.viator.com

I paid around $60 for airport transfers in the Dominican Republic. When we arrived in DR, we were taken to our resort without a problem, but were given an envelope with tour info inside, and were told that we would have to meet a Viator rep the next morning at the time on the envelope to arrange a time for our departure transfer. I didn't understand why they couldn't just tell us when a shuttle would come pick us up for the airport on our last day. Why do we have to meet a rep?

The next morning, we rushed to the lobby desk to meet the rep. We went a little early because otherwise we would miss breakfast, since the resort only serves meals at certain time frames. The rep was not available. We told the guy at the Viator desk to just have him call us with the departure shuttle time. He said we can't do that. We complained that we can't spend our vacation waiting to meet this person to tell us what time we would leave on the day we were leaving. We knew then that it was going to be a sales pitch, so we refused to meet him. That's not what I paid for, and I'm not wasting my vacation on that.

After enjoying our day and staying out late that night, around 8am the next morning Viator calls our hotel room and wakes us up to tell us the departure time would be 10am on the day we leave and we should wait in the lobby for the shuttle. My flight is at 3pm, why would you pick me up at 10 to go to the airport??

The day we left, we went to the lobby and called Viator for a shuttle at noon. They agreed to pick us up which took about a 30 minute wait. Then, we went to 2 other resorts picking up other people. I was so worried we'd miss our flight because it was taking forever. I should have just called a cab. It would have been more convenient and probably cheaper.

We booked shuttle from Tampa cruise port to the airport. The local company that was connected with Viator was SuperShuttle. SuperShuttle would not honor our paid vouchure that we had in hand. They claimed that we were not on their list. They offered to take us for additional payment in cash. We called Viator, they verified we had paid for their services, they spoke to the SuperShuttle rep on site, and as we ended our conversation the Viator rep said, "Good luck." Well, not "good luck" didn't come our way. We were told the next shuttle was just about there and that they would take us to the airport. There was quite a delay and then we were told that that shuttle wasn't going to the airport. This happened more than once. We ended up having to pay another service to transport us to the airport. Save your money, save the headaches, don't use Viator!!!

I paid $117.00 for a private pick up at Charles deGaulle airport in France, for my daughter who was arriving from the US for a 4 week study abroad program. I opted to use this service in order to provide an easy and reliable transport to her dorm. Viator contracted with Paris Shuttle. They were supposed to pick her up outside of Customs, but didn't show. Phone calls to the company went unanswered. Finally, a friendly airport personnel helped my daughter contact Paris Shuttle, and they arrived to transport her. I contacted Viator twice with my complaint about Paris Shuttle not showing up. I have still not heard from them. I understand that miscommunication does happen, but Viator had an opportunity to make this right, and they didn't even have the common decency to email me back. Lesson learned! They don't care!

This service at Las Vegas airport is a joke. It's cheaper to take a cab. It took about 45 minutes before the shuttle even showed up at the airport to take us to our hotels. It made about 7 stops. I finally made it to my hotel about an hour and a half after my plane landed. It cost me more to take the shuttle than a cab. I also left a trench coat in the back of the shuttle, called and was told they would check into it and call me back. That was four days ago. I tried to call them as soon as I was dropped off, but no one answered the phone. I called the next day and was told they would call me back...no call back. So...the service is horrible, they don't follow up with customers... Ended up back in Chicago without a coat and spent money on a round trip shuttle ride that I only used the first leg because the service was so awful. Took a cab for my return flight for fear I would miss my flight if I used them.

I waited for 20 minutes ,called 3 times.

I paid 48 euros (55 american dollars viator) and the driver asked for 26 dollars more for the peage when we arrived at the hotel! And tip

We found this service on Paris Insiders Guide. This website is powere by viator and the company they've partnered up with is Paris Shuttle.

We pre-paid for this service. We phoned them a total of 4 times at the airport in an hour because they kept telling us to wait. The driver arrived after our 4th call, he had no sign with our names on it, took another hour to pick others up. Even though we were first on, we were last off and the whole ordeal took 4 hours. I got duped by their viator website: Paris Insiders Guide. Terrible service, rocky start to our honeymoon. 4 hours when it should have been less than 1!

Paid Viator £54.16 in advance for transfer from Dubai airport to the cruise ship terminal for four people. The representative was there to meet us although our flight had been delayed by an hour. It was 1.30am in the morning and the roads were not busy. On our return we used a large taxi from the port to the aiport. It was late morning and the traffic was very busy,however the fare was less than £11. Due to the huge difference in the cost I would not use this service again

Do not ever use VIATOR Tour shuttle service in Rome. You pay in advance but they do not show up at the airport.

We waited for 1,5 hrs in the hope they would finally pick us up. We asked all travel services at the airport if they knew them, no one did. They were not reachable by phone or in person.

Back in Holland we tried to get our money back but they told us we had to come to their office in Rome.

Booked car transfer from Airport to Lisbon city Hotel Portugal. The transfer was 5 minutes late but we stood next to our name taped to the rail until someone arrived. The drive to the hotel was 15 minutes. The driver never spoke and read the paper at the stop lights! Had booked for return transfer to the airport and no one came for us!! Frantically tried to ring the local number and the emergency number with no answer. Hotel receptionist tried also with no luck. Called a taxi and made it with 5 minutes to boarding closed.

So unprofessional!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN - NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!! Get a taxi they are everywhere and works out cheaper!!!!!! Don't want to give any stars / rating for some of these categories (Unfortunately the site wont allow it!!)
