Voucher Not Received
I used to compare house insurance which I bought. There was a £10 Amazon voucher incentive. I got an email to claim it but the voucher didn’t arrive. I contacted CTM customer services. Got ongoing emails saying they were investigating. After a month I complained. They “investigated” and said my voucher had been sent twice and opened so they closed my complaint. My thoughts are that either an employee is sending the vouchers to themselves or CTM incentives are a sham. Not worth pursuing for £10, but maybe that is the point?

Easy To Use & I Saved Money
I would recommend this car insurance comparison site to everyone. The site is very easy to access and navigate. Basically, all the work is done for you, as you only need to fill out your details and choose which options are best for you. Before I was using mycompare.co.uk but this year I tried compare the market when my renewal was due and was just as happy with the results. I managed to save a similar amount of my car insurance. Fantastic, should of done this ages ago and saved myself a packet

Always thought was a good site..plenty of choice and good cheap quotes, however..got email to say my insurance was due, so (as you would) got all new quotes and took out a new policy with different company, only to find i still had 3 months remaining on my existing inurance..WTF!! AS I SAID "NOW TOTALLY CONFUSED AND VERY MIFFED THANK YOU

Went To Compare They Came Up With 5 Quotes First U
Went to compare they came up with 5 quotes first up was the cheapest it was with 1st Central ins , i entered like many others into a world of in my an ADMIN CHARGE OF £53 for canvelling after one & half days alarm bells started ringing when they asked me to send them a double sided copy of my drivers licence & then for me to apply to DVLA for my personal security code and to give it to them so at thwy point i cancelled there was a lot more backed up by some research i did about others who fell foul of the is company i dont expect to get my money back even though im a disabled pensioner and cant afford it .
The point is i got this quote from compare the market when i complained to them about the sharp practice & the fees at first they just waived it on then i persisted
i then get an email saying that that they are going to investigate the complaint the problem is i pointed out that insurance companies should be checked for bad practice they replied that they do the required checks ,i pointed out there are a lot of complaints against 1st Central from social media and you tube and yet they are still recomending and using this company despite whats happening in the real world .
Companies like go compare work on the referall fees they get from the insurance companies ie the insurance companies pay go compare for their business the more business compare gets them the more money the compare site gets , so if go compare is going to do its own investigation its hardly likely to find anything wrong the fact that if they just checked the review sites and social media site the proof is there to see there are dozens of complaints of shoddy service rip off ADMIN FEES CANCELLATION FEES cost being escalated by this company like raised premiums calling in the bailiffs ect .
yet in the face of all of this this company passed all of their checks to do business with the public ,i disagree that this company is fit to trade with the public there were dozens of companies like this in the 60/70s using sharp practice on the public to drive up their profits and it has to stop .
Im a disabled pensioner and needed my car to go to appointments i can ill afford to loose the £224 i paid them then i had to go back to my old insurer and pay even more .
looking at what has happened to other people who insured with this conpany i cant see me getting my money back but if it can stop insurace companies from being used by compare the market companies it will be £224 well spent, i personally wont be using compare the market companies again !
Where Is My Toy - Why Have I Got To Wait 90 Days?
So I took out insurance this week - went to track my meerkat toy only to find that
"Validation of your purchase/switch can take up to 90 days from the start date of your policy. We will also keep in touch by email on the progress of your reward claim."
Ridiculous - why would it take 90 days - everything is on computers that talk to each other. I got my 2 for 1 cinema tickets immediately so why am I not getting my toy straight away? Disgraceful, this will be well past the date by which a customer can back out of the insurance deal - I wouldn't have got the insurance through them if it wasn't for the toy. I'd better get the toy otherwise I will be back to leave a much worse review.
Why are they advertising the toy on TV if they can't supply it?
Sounds like really shady business practices.
And if they knew there was a high level of claims then they should have warned customers BEFORE buying.

I've been buying insurance through them for many years now. The quotes are either the lowest or within a few ££ of being the lowest. Rewards are great and their customer service is outstanding - I emailed them with a minor issue and they resolved it within 12 hours.
I highly recommend Compare The Market and truly believe there is no reason to go elsewhere to look for insurance.

Do Not Trust These Companies.
Way back in July of this year I looked at switching my energy tariff. Was going to be TOTO ENERGY. However, TOTO contacted me to say that the tariff details were incorrect on this site, and that they have limited control over how their tariffs are advertised. So all in e-mails, I decided not to switch to them and they were duly notified that I would not be going ahead with them. They replied that they understood my disappointment and would cancel the switch immediately. This was on the 13th July 2017. Also well within the 14 days cool of period, in fact was done within 7 days. However, a couple of months later, I was very surprised to see that TOTO ENERGY are taking money from my account. Bank account details that they never got from me, but from this Compare The Market. com. To date, TOTO energy, has never contacted me with any type of bill, TOTO has just started to help themselves to money from my account without any permission from me.
Beware, you can not trust these companies. !!!!!

They treat customers as fools. They are accomplice with some insurers like Hastings direct and they try to get as much money they can by blackmail the customer. Don't use them.

I have not received my Oleg frozen toy and there has been no explanation very disappointing
I bought car insurance through compare the market.com and quoted the reference no but keep getting reminders that my quote time is running out. Have sent 2 emails to them but still no confirmation. Has this happened to anyone else?
I have recently gone with another company for my gas and electric so I could get a baby Oleg. My husband changed his car insurance provider through them but he did it after me and his toy has come first. Why is this?
