I Bought A Kitchen From These Cowboys Back In 2008
I bought a kitchen from these cowboys back in 2008 and got all the problems that they are famous for. Customer services would not respond so i used different names and relatives addresses to have one of their kitchen designers come out so that i could waste their time. I would just see how long i could keep them in the kitchen before agreeing to buy a really expensive kitchen. I would then slap my credit card on the table and tell them to take the deposit out of that. They always declined but then i would ask to talk to the manager to see if i could pay by card as i was a litle short of cash. The rep would then ring the manager and put me on and i would say its me again where are my missing parts. I done this a few times before they decided i was wasting too much of their time and sent me everything i asked for. A few weeks later i got a call from rocksolidkitchens to say that my delivery would be with me later that evening. Somehow they had made a mistake and were sending an expensive kitchen down from Manchester to London even though i had not paid a deposit. I let them get all the way here before i told them that i diddnt order it. They ask you to email your complaint then just ignore you. I wouldnt buy a handle from them again.
I had the kitchen fitted but had to finish it myself when i eventually got all the missing bits. I would not have got them had i not wasted their reps time over and over again. One of the managers told me to get a life. I told him that messing rocksolidkitchens about was my new hobby and i was going to see how long i could keep a rep in the kitchen trying to sell a kitchen to me.
they sound like really Bad cowboys, hope things are okay now

I Bought A Kitchen From Rsk 2 Years Ago And Apart
I bought a kitchen from RSK 2 years ago and apart from one door missing on the delivery I am pleased enough with my purchase, I knew what I had to spend and got what I expected. I did not like the rail under the units so I fitted them without. I liked the colour, the fact that i got the sink, tapps, waste unit, oven, hob, extractor, handles etc all for '2600. What do you expect for that price? 2 years later, i still have no probs, I got what i deserved.

It Baffles Me To Think That People Expect A Full K
It baffles me to think that people expect a full kitchen supplied for the cost of a couple of mens suits!. If you want quality and long term reliabilty why would you spend so little on a kitchen that is designed to be a stop gap in the market. This company has been victimised and bullied by the authorites and still they sell kitchens. The reason they sell is because some people want CHEAP KITCHENS!!.If you want the best go to a company with a long guarantee who will charge you £10k plus. Otherwise stop moaning and get a life. One Of The Worst Companies I Have Had The Mis-plea
one of the worst companies i have had the mis-pleasure to deal with ever, everything about my kitchen was wrong, after lenghty e-mails and telephone calls nothing was resolved and i ended up having to take them to the small claims court to resolve the many issues that i encountered, i won my case hands down, and have since seen the owner of the company on the tv programme ;rogue traders; who has been in loads of trouble for not only kitchens and bathrooms but many other illegal practises. please please please avoid like the plague and save yourself a lot of anguish and trouble.
I took the company through the small claims court, sent the bailiffs in and was told that they did not own the goods - they are in the name of Vance Miller. I later got a call from their legal department asking me to sign a document agreeing that if they delivered the missing parts i would drop the case. I replied saying this was not acceptable and they should pay compensation for the years i have been trying to get the missing parts. They then replied saying that the company has gone into administration.
How do you succeed in winning the case?

This is my DESPERATE letter to the company:
Rock Solid Kitchens
Customer Services
To whom it may concern,
Upon receiving advise from Trading Standards and Consumer Direct it was recommended that I write you another letter, following my previous final demand, for a response to the problems with my kitchen.
This is my second and final letter (following 3 faxes, 5 emails and dozens of telephone calls) to your company requesting you to contact me about my kitchen -delivered 23/03/09, with regards to missing, damaged or faulty items.
I have now contacted Trading Standards and have been advised, under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, to send you one final demand stating a deadline of which someone at your company must contact me.
I therefore request a response within 14 working days upon receipt of this letter (which is sent by recorded delivery), to state when my outstanding items will be sent OR to agree a part or full refund for my kitchen.
Failure to do so will result in a follow-up of the complaint I have registered with Trading Standards.
As well as the outstanding items listed below, most of the doors were drawn on with crayon, marker or pencil, and have had to be scrubbed clean. The 400mm door for the 800mm wall unit is not routered for hinges, the 800wall unit itself is not routered one side for shelving clips, all the cornice and pelmet and 50% of the doors were covered in black mould, the larder unit is not only the incorrect size but also a different style of beech to the other units.
I have retained photographic proof of faults for evidence.
The outstanding items are as follows: 600 larder unit, 600 larder door, 800 base unit, corner trim for corner wall unit, 2no. corner trim OR end panels for base units, draw front for 500 base, 570H door for 500 base, 2no. short bar handles. I have also recently unpacked the sink and noticed a large dent, therefore I would also appreciate a replacement sink.
600mm larder unit
500mm unit delivered, even though 600mm doors were delivered.
600mm larder unit door
The 600mm larder door supplied has not been routered for hinges.
800mm base unit
The sink unit was drawn at 800mm(same as wall unit) to fit in my kitchen but was ordered at 1000mm.
Corner trim for corner wall unit
No corner posts were delivered at all; hence a large gap between doors on the corner wall unit.
2no corner trim OR end panels for corner base units
Same as above.
Draw front for 500mm base and 570H door for 500mm base
The designer drew the kitchen with 2 draw units. But only 1no. draw front and 1no. draw door were supplied.
2no. short bar handles
Not enough short bar handles (approx 180mm) were delivered.
Stainless steel single bowl sink
The sink has a large dent.
I await your immediate response

Ok, I Wrote A Review Many Many Months Ago..... Kit
ok, i wrote a review many many months ago..... kitchen bought in march 2009 and as usual, frought with all the difficulties that thousands of other have described....lack of communication, rude customer support, when you can get hold of them etc..... in september 09, they finally contacted me re exchanging the wrong worktops and said I'd be contacted the next week. Of course I wasn't. They called me last night giving me one hours notice that they'd be round to exchange the worktops.... now, call me impatient if you will, but having no faith in them, I bought my own worktops after 4 months and got a whole new kitchen from B and Q...... All their stuff has gone to the dump so I lost out on about £2,500 cos I couldn't wait.... They sais they'd be around to exchange the worktops at 6pm.... They turned up at about 8.30pm and rang on my doorbell. I had no intention of answering the door as I had just sat down to my dinner after a really long day at work.... They kept ringing my doorbell, phoning me on my mobile and landline but there was no way I was going to let them get in the way of Eastenders!!!! Also, there was no return number on the missed calls from them!! Finally, my partner answered the door (rest assured, nobody would dare mess with him!!!) and he told them we didn't want the worktops....I hope he was dying for the loo, thinking that me, a female would let him in.....Even if my partner wasn't here, I was sooooooo geared up for having a row with them!!! I am glad they had a wasted journey as I didn't want them anyway and I hope it pissed them off because you can't trust anyone associated with that company. By the way, they have changed their name again. You can't trust or believe any of them.... I orederd my "kitchen" in March, I have only made use of the appliances - some of which were wrong. I am still out of pocket, lesson learned!!! Please don't make the same mistake!! It's not just about the money, more about the inconvenience and the aggravation and above all.... the shocking rudeness and lack of customer care which is non-existent. Do yourself a favour and go to B and Q who offer a better service!
