Out-of-date Content. Very Poor Design, Like Someth
Out-of-date content. Very poor design, like something from over 10 years ago. It was chosen against competitors because it was the cheapest. I'm actually embarrassed that it was an option I provided to my bosses. Money could have been spent on actually educating children rather than commission based sales staff.
So Laggy, I Mean, I Couldnt Even Fish Some Tasks..
1. i mean surely ,creating an avatar is cool, but you cant even choose what your WEAR like serioulsy you can even get glasses off.2. so laggy, sometimes i cant even gte throught a question even when i tried every outcome 3. just HELL . 4. boring 5. just sometimes you get points you dont evne move along . LIKE HATE YOU SAM LEARNING , YOU SHOULD NOT EXIST
Insult To Revision
Whilst the idea of adding a competitive element with the point system is a good way to encourage kids to get revising, I find that a lot of the tasks don't even match up to the specification of the topics I needed to be revising! For example in science, It frequently asks you to explain things that I didn't need to know or weren't even scientifically relevant. Another problem with it is the revision activities that one may acquire points from. Being the tasks that will probably be most popular, you'd at least hope the "drop down selection" system would ask you to fill in the gaps of relevant key word. Often they are not. Or even incorrect. To the point sometimes that I'd say it almost hinders revision and progress in learning. For example I just did a section in Chemistry that was making me fill gaps about what colour you see when you heat marble and there is nothing in the specification saying I should know this so if anything it's trying to teach me stuff I don't need to know in a format completely different to the actual exams themselves.
Whilst I didn't have to pay for it myself (school made that mistake for me) I would strongly advise against people buying it for solo revision or for a class. It talks rubbish about how those who use it go up a grade well those who go up a grade will be the ones who are revising anyway!!!

Please Don't Waste Money On This!
There are countless problems with this website. Let's start with the positives, however:
1. It cover's the curriculum
2. Many activities are available
3. Good for competitive people
Bad things:
1. Inaccurate information
2. Bad design
3. Points system is flawed
If your school chooses to spend nearly £4000 (£4 per student) on this website, please campaign to allocate your resources elsewhere; for example, into a better cafeteria. One example would be the East Anglian College for Girls and Boys, which hosts a wide range of food items. These are including but not limited to: jacket potatoes, pasta, many curries and several delicious salads. I had the pleasure of trying out the potatoes with a topping of cheese and baked beans and was not disappointed. Potatoes were cooked nicely and were sweet but not overpowering. Baked beans and cheese were in good proportions. Would eat there again.
Don't Use!
its worse then death!
Kill Me
Only use this website if you are an Autistic Weeaboo who can't spell.
That was very unkind to autistic children and their families. You would understand that if you knew how smart autistic children are and how talented they are in their own way. Think about what you are saying before you put it on the internet.

Okay Site, Good For Gcse Revision
I find this site very helpful for revising for my GCSEs.
Pros:
-Entertaining progress system
-Leader board and competing with friends encourages you to do more revision
-A wide range of subjects
-I find it a helpful way to learn and remember things
-exam questions to test your knowledge
Cons:
-Some mistakes eg. spelling and incorrect information
-Annoying scroll system sometimes doesn't work
-Can't always progress in activities...
-RAGE (when you're one mark from 100% and get a question wrong and have to re-do everything!)
People say that the tests are inaccurate as you can give yourself all the marks but I think it's still a good system. If you cheat you're less likely to get a good mark in the final exam as you get your hopes up and never learn the actual right answer, so while you can give yourself 'points' you're not actually achieving anything when it comes to your education.
But that's a minor error. I still find the exam questions really helpful, and think it's a good site overall.
Q&A
My daughter got a detention for doing her homework on sam learning because it didn't show up on the teachers computer. Thanks Sam learning very helpful. My daughter hates school now. Has anyone else had this problem?
