we ate here this lunchtime and i've never seen it so busy! Such great value, i would defenately recommend to anyone looking for a hearty lunch. In my opinion the Saturday lunchtime menu is unrivalled in the area

We have been many many times to the Sunday Carvery. The choice is staggering with something for everyone. They have fantastic sausages, which they make on the premises, I have never eaten better! The different meats are incredible and at least 5 different choices every week. It is by far the best carvery in North Wales!

I visited the site on a recommendation from a friend. I am so pleased that she did so. This is one of those little gems that I'm almost wary of reviewing because the atmosphere was just perfect and I wouldnt like to change anything. There was a small bar area where original art work made such a lovely change to the plastic prints one sees these days. We were lucky enough to have a table by the windows and had a view over the bay - superb. Friendly and efficient staff brought the food that was just perfect - one can tell a good cut of steak by being able to eat it rare. Mine just melted. We all commented on the skill of the chef. Throughout the meal the staff were attentive enough to show they cared but without being intrusive - a rare skill these days. I would happily have paid more for such a pleasant evening and left the place vowing to return. It is very rare that I feel moved to offer an opinion on a hotel or restaurant but am happy that this is the exception.

The Aberhod came highly recommended and we were not disappointed.The food was outstanding and the staff were efficient and polite.Have already booked a return visit.

On my first visit to North Wales I was invited to eat at the Aberhod Old Hall Restaurant in Rhos on Sea overlooking the harbour. It was delightful the food was excellent, imaginatively served with the minimum of delay, and the chocolate fudge cake on the dessert menu was 'to die for'. The setting of the restaurant is breathtaking - we watched the sunset over the harbour which perfectly rounded off a superb evening.

What a really really nice place to eat!

We had our wedding here in August. The whole experience was fantastic. The food was perfect and the service was great. Thank you to Aysha and her team. it was the perfect day!!

We went there for a family meal on a Saturday night for the first time. It was not very busy, but approx half full. The food was extremely well cooked and the fillet steak I had was very tender. Their wine list was not particularly big and they did not have the first wine I asked for. However I could not fault the service, nor the attention to detail and the quality of the food. I will be back to eat there again.
