AMO Oxysept 1 Step

The lens holder for use with Oxysept was stiff to close. I had to "snap" it closed. Then one of the lenses was broken in half when I took it out. Expensive exercise!

Ive used the Oxysept hydrogen peroxide + neutralising tablet for many years now with no problem. It's the only peroxide system on the market in NZ now so no competition. I have a complaint now - theyve just changed their free lens container from plain white/blue plastic to a sparkly see-thru/bluey plastic. For low vision people like me (who can't use disposable lenses and so make up the bulk of Oxysepts custom these days), this container makes it hard to see where youve put the lens. So now my new $80 lens has just been torn, probably by the lid of the container. One last gripe - this product looks to be truely part of the anonymous non-accountable multinational corporate world - theres nowhere to send a complaint to!

I have used lenses for 15 years, I have sentive eyes and I couldnt find my normal contanct lenses solution any where, so i saw this on offer and bought it. I was totaly confused by the instructions, read them 5 times followed them and made up solition. When i went to put in my lenses they both felt very sticky so i took the bottle of what i thought was saline solution to re moisten them only to find it was DISINFECTENT and my consiquently hert like hell. Have spent all morning with blood rred eyes. The lableing and instructions are terrable - to not buy.

I use contact lenses since 14. I had tried many contact lens solutions in all my life but never seen anything like this. This solution I got from Vision direct was very cheap about £5 for each bottle. I thought it can't be that bad and gave it a try. It did not clean anything and first time in my life I have seen protein deposits in my contact lenses like a blurry patch made my vision so uncomfortable. I have changed it to some other well-known brand but it did not change the result too. Now I have to buy protein remover to clean my lenses properly. Thank you Vision Direct selling something like this that has no use! No wonder it is so cheap! And no wonder you did not publish my review on your website and there is no one single negative comment on your products!!!!! How do you think when you sell products like this people will continue to buy? Shame on you!
