I ordered frontline plus for cats 12 mo. supply last year. my cats were ate up with fleas after use. i went to my vet and took the package with me she said they used bate and swich on me i ordered frontline and they gave me knock off brand. i tell everyone i meet to stay away from canada pet care.my vet kept the package of frontline to show the merial salesman.

I find Frontline to be on the pricey side but it really does work. Luckily my dog is not allergic to it and has no side effects what so ever. I only use Frontline when my dog has fleas which is about once a year during the summer when he's been running through the woods!

after reading many reports of poisons i have decided not to use bob martins BUT i would like to thank all who wrote a review and making me aware of the dangers without this i would have happily used there products on my 6 wk old puppy,. so a BIG THANK YOU to you all.

my poor cat suffered started to suffer with cystitis so bad that it was nearly permanent and we virtually lived down the vets.it took me ages to realise it was spot-on doing it to her.from the moment i stopped using it she was perfect.i will never use it again.

Be aware that your dog/cat could be allergic to Frontline.

My Vet advised me to use Frontline as flea and tick protection for my collie so I started using it and applied the Frontline spot on at the subscribed doses at the subscribed times. Within weeks by dog had a sore rear right paw, one of his toes was bleeding and he was limping.

I visited the vet and he gave me a cream and told me to keep his paw dry and clean, after a while it got a bit better until a month later as his paw was raw again, I visited the vet and I was told the same again, I did exactly what I was told and again it heelded again until a month later and it happened again, went back to the vet who told me this could be chronic and I may have to consider an amputation of the affected toe.

As I thought that to be ridiculous, I did a lot of internet research and I watched my dog much closer and I found that as soon as I applied the frontline spot-on he started scratching his neck at the same spot and soon after that he started chewing that paw as now his paw was itching from the frontline spot on , I also noted that he really did not wanted the Frontline spot on applied and ran away as soon as I had the packaging in my hand.

Conclusion; I stopped using Frontline spot-on immediately, his paw healed within weeks and the issue has never returned again.
