Took my money mid jan 2016 promised sofa's 24/2 never showed after phone calls no joy was just told suppliers still making. Didn't get a phone call got spam email eventually promised 1/3 still not arrived. I'm not getting any answers only the word sorry once in sn email after logging complaints. Even their response that should happen after 24 hrs took 5 days. Where's my sofas I'm getting trading standards involved today I want all my money bk asap

Same problem. Ordered furniture at beginning of Dec '15 and had a couple of e-mails to tell me it wasn't going to be delivered as stated, this has continued week after week. Customer service staff told me they weren't trained to deal with my issue, wrote to their CEO but had a couple of snotty e-mails from low level staff member and the last one he sent finished with the line there is nothing I can do to make the delivery get to you any quicker..!! Awful service and still waiting for furniture :(

Good Customer Service, Poor Quality
Purchased alistair corner sofa on 27th Nov after really good reviews, delivered mid December, looks lovely, however, sofa has lumpy cushions, poor filling and looks more 3 year old than 3 weeks!!! I have spoke to several people in customer service who have all been brilliant! I am now awaiting on pick up and full refund! Great customer service, manufacturer of poor sofa has let this down! Now hope to get the collection/full refund completed sharpish...

Christmas Present Desk Never Arrived Despite Promises!!!!!
Ordered desk that arrived next day by Yodel smashed badly on corners with package sellotaped !!! Called Azda, who could not replace under 14 days as Courier had taken it back with him!!! They said nothing they could do... Just two days before Xmas! I called a second time and spoke to someone more helpful...who said he would refund, if I put in another order at that time. Happy, I did that and waited for my Xmas eve order for my daughter. It did not arrive!!! When I called Yodel they had no explanation except that it was refused at address??????!! Crazy talk as we were all at home waiting for it!!! I called Azda again, who said they would definitely call driver and get a delivery that day..... Today is 29th December and I have had no refund, no desk and no call from Azda whatsoever ever!!!!! HATE AZDA . Will NEVER buy from them again , ever groceries!!!!!!!!

Disgraceful Customer Service
We ordered a sofa and two snuggle chairs in the Richmond design ,four days before they were due to be delivered I contacted customer services to check they were to be delivered on the named day yes they were I would get a text tom to confirm no text arrived. I rang them the following three days still to be told yes delivery was as planned no problems. Over the weekend we got rid of our old suite to make way for the new one less than twenty four hours before the new suite was to arrive I got a voicemail to say there was a short delay in a south African accent we could not make out clearly so rang customers services to be told yes this suite was coming the next day after a whole day of phone calls to them Eventually we found out the short delay was over two weeks and a customer service advisor suggesting we sat on the floor on cushions I said I can't believe you have just said that to us , we decided the next day to cancel the order from them ,only to be told our refund wouldn't happen straight away we have now got are refund will never use asda direct again absolutely dreadful customer service
Asda Directs Customer Service Is An Absolute Joke
I ordered 3 items with a delivery date of the 26th September This was for some reason then split between 2 couriers, Yodel and Hermes.
The Yodel delivery came much quicker than this, which is by no means a bad thing. However the process seemed to fall down a little bit. At 13:31 I got both a text and an email from them to say that my order would be delivered between 9:00 - 13:00. The notification after the fact meant I was unable to have anyone in to sign for the items. The courier left one item in my porch and the other larger one with a neighbour.
However the 3rd item (Wyndham Brushed Aluminium 2 Seat Dining Bench) was being sent by Hermes who I can see received this item on the 23rd. it then sat in there hub for 3 days which seemed a bit odd, but I was aware that it wasn't due to be delivered until the 26th
on the 26th I phoned them up early morning to get confirmation that it would be delivered as I was concerned that the tracking hadn't been updated and was told it was definitely going to turn up and to stay in all day. Needless to say it didn't turn up.
After contacting them on various different medias I finally got a call back to say that it had been lost and that they were refunding me and I need to reorder the item.
I expressed that this was unacceptable and you need to resend the order, apparently this isn't their policy and I need to reorder.
I also voiced my concern that it might no longer be available or the price may have gone up as it was a clearance item. The person I called checked and said it was still available at the same price.
We'll I've just been on to re-order immediately after that phone call and the item is no longer available.
I'd requested to speak to a manager and was told one would have to phone me back, which would happen in 2-3 hours. The call never came.
I sent them a Facebook message later that day and when they failed to respond I posted the message to one of their posts. Which the following day received a reply telling me to message them direct. I highlighted that I had already done this, but messaged them anyway to which I had no reply. I then attempted to contact them on Twitter as well. After giving up this avenue and trying to call them again I found that whenever I gave them my order number and name I would be promptly disconnected.
The lost item was part of a set of garden furniture of which I now have no way of contacting them to arrange for the rest of it to be returned.
This is absolutely disgusting behaviour from such a large company, I can’t believe they would act in this way. The lost delivery could have easily been resolved but the way they dealt with this is shocking.

Worst Customer Service Ever!! Bunch Of Liars!
Ordered Sumatra garden furniture (£375) all went well with order, pain in the butt to assemble got to last bit the coffee table glass scratched! Rang the dreaded South African call centre who were very apologetic but that's all they were, both my husband & I struggled to understand what the girl was saying. They sent someone to inspect the scratch for Christ sake! Then Rather than just replace glass we had to take it all to bits and send the whole lot back.
Decided to try again & order different one Borneo £499. Got no email confirmation of order, went on line to check and was out for delivery next day. Rang Arrow XL to ask for estimated time slot to be told it had arrived at their depot damaged so it was sent back to asda. After making at least 10 calls today and being told every time they were very sorry and they understand, that my case would be escalated and would be called back within 2 hours I'm still waiting 10 hours later. So, I have no furniture, no refund and no communication! How the hell are you supposed to deal with idiots like this. There is absolutely no way if contacting anyone in this country to complain. SHAME ON YOU ASDA. BE WARNED DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE.

Waited 10 weeks for a armchair & footstool on first attempt to deliver driver phoned to say he had 2 footstools to deliver to me I explained it was not correct so didn't bother to come , a week later they delivered the same 2 footstools I told them it was the wrong Items so they took them back I phoned customer service they said they would deliver again soon I waited 2 days never heard nothing so phoned again they said I would have to wait another 6-8 weeks so cancelled order now im trying to get money refunded . Btw why is their customer service based in South Africa , BEWARE OF ASDA

I Wish I Had Read These Reviews Before Buying!
The following is a review I have submitted to ASDA themselves (26/04/2015)I'm guessing they won't post it! The purchase was garden furniture Sumatra sofa and 2 chairs £500:
Items delivered no problem. We unpacked the huge box removing wrapping film and straps by cutting them. It transpired that there were no fittings (bolts) supplied and slight damage to the side of one of the chairs, we contacted Asda and, to keep a long story short, were advised that we had to return the whole delivery in a packaged state acceptable to a courier otherwise they might refuse it. Despite our attempts at reasoning with Asda we were told we had no option but to re-package the whole order. We didn't want to go to all the hassle so instead we had to go out and buy some bolts to put the furniture together and accept the slight damage, the damage is minor and can be hidden by placing the chairs side by side. One other point on the quality of the items, the bolt holes do not all line up correctly, it took a fair bit of work to insert all of the bolts using some well placed clamps, also, at the moment the chairs are not that comfortable but we expect them to become more comfortable once the cushions have softened a bit. On a positive note the furniture does look good.
We weren't allowed to mention customer services in our review, yes based in South Africa and extrememly difficult to understand!
Like you I wish I had read all the reviews. We had Borneo garden furniture delivered, and it fell off the lorry onto the road we checked it and decided to keep it as the whole settee and two chairs were well covered in bubble wrap.we too had difficulty in assembling it as the brackets never matched, just as you we had to use clamps. We then realised that the glass top was missing, it was in the cardboard that they took away, broken as we found evidence glass fragments. I contacted Cust. Serv. yes in S.A. And was told to return it and I would have to have a refund as the light grey set was O.O.S.i told them I was happy to get the glass cut. I was told to get a price which was £41.60. Then I was told I couldn't have it refunded onto the card I paid with, it would have to be a voucher to spend on line, as if I would want to buy anything else from them. You won't believe how many calls I've made and received,and the list of names I have tonight I was offered a £25 voucher, I was even told they would send out there repair team to measure and then come back to fit the glass.as we mustn't do do as it would make the guarantee void if we tampered with the set, they now tell me that team don't look at garden furniture. I've never heard so much rubbish in all my life. They don't have any respect in keeping the customers happy, I don't know who to speak to next that can resolve this problem, I've already tried LEEDS I have asked for the manager that when he says jump everyone does, or am I not living in the real world. we like the furniture it's very comfortable, we also purchased a cupboard to store the large cushions, NOT FROM GEORGE ASDA

Tired Of Waiting!
At last I have taken delivery of my sofa after waiting 12 weeks!! Why did it take all that time. It's completely unacceptable. Nobody advised me as to what was going on, I had to do all the phoning to see what was happening. Most inconvenient to me as I had removed interior doors to accommodate sofa delivery. Very uncomfortable in the cold weather we had a few weeks ago. I will never order anything more from Asda direct again., and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone else. Sofa is nice, service is not.

Shocking Service!!!
I ordered 2 Sloane sofa's and they arrived in good time, this is the good bit. I got them at the end of May and the time it was the end of June all the cushions had collapsed on both sofa's. I contacted customer services - what a joke! They are all liars and by the time I had the an estimator out the do a survey on the cushions we could barely sit on them. Heard nothing more for months on end until I went straight to head office - the MD and file a formal complaint. I got £50.00 compensation and promises that my sofa cushions would be sorted out. The same engineer arrived and asked why he was doing another survey....... I had nuclear meltdown and I am now waiting for my old sofa's to be collected and a full refund as I don't want replacements. I will never buy from them again. I now have to buy new ones but I am too scared to get it wrong again.
