Saims, Huddersfield

We happily discovered Saims about three years ago. The food is fresh and beautifully cooked with a wonderful use of spices and herbs. The starters are light, just enough to allow us to enjoy the main course which are varied and quite individual. We try to choose something different each time and as yet there has been nothing to disappoint. Is this Huddersfield's best kept secret? Now, relatives and friends visiting from outside town invariably insist on having a meal at Saims when coming to stay.

We have been dining at Saims for the 6 plus years it has been open and have always had excellent food. The staff are attentive (on one occasion taking time to discuss ingredients with one of our party with special dietary needs) and friendly. Our visitors from the rest of the UK regularly ask for return meals at Saims when they visit because of the first rate experience of their first visit.

The food was appauling! I wuold never reccommend Saim's Retaurant. The service was disgusting

A fantastic place to eat. I was recommended this restaurant about a year ago, and took my wife along for a nice romantic meal. Since then, we visit regularly at least once a month.

The atmosphere is great, prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and the quality of food is simply out of this world. I travel regularly around the UK for business and regularly eat out, but the food at this indian resturant is better than any I have tasted.

If you are looking for a nice night out, or just a great meal I definetly recommend this place.

This restaurant is never busy which really surprises me.

We usually go just as a couple but have been there in a big group and that was good too.

Everything is cooked to order and the flavours are really great.

We have been tonight for the banquet/buffet menu and it was excellent. The food was fresh and all starters were cooked to order, rice and naan bread also cooked fresh for the main course which was replaced again with fresh dishes. The food was excellent, proper pilau rice, and just the right balance of spice and flavours, we will definitley be returning, one of Huddersfields best and we've tried a lot of them. Staff very polite and attentive and spotless inside. Not much more to say except try it :)
