Unreliable
only had it two years. so only 2 short central heating seasons lasting 4 months each. lightly used kit.
broken PCB , no reason given, faulty fans,unidentifyable faults.
total rubbish.
totally agree, had it installed by private plumber 4 years ago, and fortunately joined the British Gas contract and they've been out 4 times in the last 2 weeks - flame failure constantly, done water pressure - rubbish.Waitng for them again this morning to come and mend it - only came yesterday and they changed a part in the system, but today - nothing.

I HAVE INSTALL POTTERTON PERFOMA 24 ECO HE ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO AND I AM HAVING A ENDLESS PROBLEM, I HAVE CHANGED PRESSURE SWITCH ,PCB, ELECTRODE, GAS VALVE AND GAS IGNITE.AND STILL IT IS NOT EFFICIENT.I WOULD SAY THIS IS A RUBBISH BOILER,I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND CERTAINLY I WILL NEVER BUY THIS BOILER AGAIN . I MEAN NOT POTTERTON ANY MORE.

Don't Buy Potterton Performa System He And Perform
Don't buy Potterton Performa System HE and Performa 24iHE boilers unless you've lost the will to live. Luckily they are in the cellar as they both leak badly. Had rubber seals replaced but still leak. Endless unidentified faults, completely unreliable, replaced endless circuit boards, presumably because they have an inherent fault. My regular plumber, (not the joker who sold me the system) says he doesn't want to come out anymore because I'm ruining his reputation. Will replace as soon as I can afford it. Have put one star but would have given none if I could.

excellent boiler,same as baxi80 eco and main 24he i have fitted 110 of thease only real problem is if a descale has not been done,recuperator can pinhole.do not confuse this with the perfoma 24 i thats a shed and not the same boiler as this one
I have had this boiler for 3 years and I am at breaking point.....I have had no heat or hot water for 5 weeks as of today and BAXI can not fix it, I have had 3 engineers to look at the biler as I have now taken out a repair policy with them, I had an appointment this morning confirmed via text that an engineer would be out, but at 9.25am BAXI called to cancel, the reason being that the boiler is to be completely re built and one of the important parts has not arrived from Italy. I would never ever ever recommend this boiler, I can't afford a new one so I will just have to stay cold and dirty in my house, the most annoying thing is that I used money left to me from a death to replace this boiler and it was such a waste of money, my old boiler that was 15 years old and had a carbon monoxide leak worked more effectivly than this load of rubbish,
I found this review very helpful because...Ill be honest this boiler potterton performa 24 he eco . I HAVE INSTALLED LESS THEN THREE YEARS AGO AND I AM HAVING HELL OF LOT OF PROBLEMS I HAVE CHANGED AIR PRESSURE, PCB ELECTRO ROD AND SO ON BUT THERE IS NO FIRING . MY ADVICE IS NEVER BUY THIS RUBBISH BOILER IT IS WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.
