Be warned they auto-renewal you domain without asking and if you don't cancel way in advance they will come at you quoting there terms and condition even if you still have couple weeks before the renewal date to cancel. Thanks UK2 I got another 2 year on my domain they I don't need, what a rip off! Their ticket systems sucks and so does their customer support! Avoid at all costs there are plenty of other provider to choose from.

My websites are on a Reseller hosting on www.uk2.net where I pay a lot of money and where I can see that my websites is offline several times per day, this month from the 1 of July.

Below you can see a ping service from multiple location that detected that the website was offline for 45 minutes.

This problem happened today and also sereral times this week and last week as well.

I called last week by phone and the technical support is TERRIBLE - website was down - and they said that they do maintenance in the middle of the day that took about 1 hour in the afternoon. After paying for the call 18 cents per minute and ask how the can fix this they said that I just have to wait until they fix the problem with no other explication.

Also I called today to the technical department and I was 7 client on waiting list and I am sure it was the same problem - lots of websites OFFLINE.

Why is this happening offline time so often? No clear answer.

The FTP is very very slow.

If this is continuing to be the same that I have to ask my money back and a compensation from your side for the down time.

This is unacceptable and would not recommend this hosting to no one.

With a new website produced all I wanted to do was to point my domain to another server - something I have done with numerous other providers many times, within minutes, over the years. UK2, though only allow you to manage your domains when you pay them £16.99 a year.

The systems for payment and backend processes/screens are just weird - I was left not knowing whether they had accepted payment or not.

I don't know if this lot offer a stable environment - maybe they are wonderful - but on the basis of my last two hours with them, I won't be recommending them to my customers..

I used uk2.net with no problem for about a year. Everything was Ok until one day my sites were down due some servers updates and from that moment the tech support was so inefficient that I was 2 month with no service before I finally stop the contract. It was a madness, you don't want to read all they replays to my emails and still two of my nicks (pavelfernandez.co.uk and .com) are not online because they don't wan't to give me access to move those to a new name server.

As usual you never knows how good is a service until you actually have a problem but do not bet at uk2 for your own good.

www.uk2.net is high QualityCheapGreat ServiceFast ServersGood Uptime. Server has been up and online for 2 years with no down time at all, 16 ip addresses hosting 50 websites fast full root control and ssh no problems at all, would highley recomend for the money, I pay £80 per month for server and choose to pay £30 per month for Supreme Support which is fantastic. no complaints, just ordered 2nd server. if not using the supreme support, the standard support isn't very good in my opinion

The support from UK2 is absolutely rubbish.You submit a ticket, which takes than half a day to respond too, with minimal information and effort. It's like they just can't be bothered to help you.Server wise, my site was down for about 10-20% of the time, and that was only when I was checking. That's a ridicules amount of time to be downUploading files via FTP was always a chore because their server would only allow files, which had permissions set to rw-r-r. If you uploaded a file and forgot the change its permissions you would get a 404 error when linking to it from a browser. Also if you decided to set permissions on a folder, this seemed to corrupt the contents and then caused the folder not only to be empty but made them undeletable. When I had finally had enough they made it difficult to move my domain away by not only charging me £15 for the privilege making me wait for a week and a half to release my domain to my new registrar. I really hate hosting companies who take this attitude.
