Bad Prices, Bad Delivery And Terrible Customer Support
This company over-charges (check Amazon for lower prices on most their products), is dishonest about delivery times and has appalling customer service, not responding to emails.
I ordered a CPU from them on Nov 8th at scalping prices (£70 above RRP) on the basis of a promised 15th Nov shipping date. When it hadn't turned up by the 20th, I contacted them and was told to expect it towards the end of November. By the end of December still nothing heard, so I emailed them telling them how unhappy I was - they didn't bother to answer my email but logging in to the web site, I find out that they have simply cancelled my order without telling me.
I have never had such dreadful service from a company selling computer parts.

Ccl Online Was A Bad Move
This company use to be excellent when you could call and collect the order. What were you thinking making this online only?
Now I'm still waiting on an order marked as IN STOCK with next day delivery, a week later almost and still waiting for delivery.
Companies that are ONLY online are not worth dealing with anymore.
Nobody replies to tickets, it's a very poor service now..

Just had a custom build pc made for my grandson which arived today,I'd like to say that the staff were extremely helpful in every way and very polite,even when I changed a few things of my order halfway through the build they sorted it out straight away for me,,first class,,and they will have my business again in the new Yr,,

Still Awaiting Refund After Months
purchased a hared drive from their ebay site which failed after a few months, no replacement offered just a refund. they shut down their ebay selling department leaving me high and dry was told id get a direct refund to send bank details which i did . now been told they won't refund and to go to my back and ask them to try get my money back, why can't they just send ma a cheque. terrible experience do not buy from them they are doing their best to make me just walk away which i won't do on principle

just hope you never need to return anything because you will not get a refund as they fob you off every time with excuses like not right department leave message. Courier error item lost not received etc

Ccl Gone Bust ???
Used ccl online previously 3 times, 3rd time was a pita getting money back ( i think this is where they started going down the pan - approx 8 months ago ) ........... Went to recently order a whole list of parts from these guys only to realise they have no intel socket 1700 motherboards in stock.. and very few other items in stock.. i.e gfx cards, So which tells me theyre going bust, So save yourself the hassle and order else where..
Shame really as they were a good company, Much better than Scan!

Placed an order on the 1st of March, ask on the 10th when I would receive it...took a day to be told my order had not been dispatched yet! So cancelled it but now waiting to get money back, terrible service. Better order on other faster centers...

Most efficient part of process is taking your money, then no delivery, chat bot that can provide no answers, and a "help line" that after 45 minutes asks you to leave your detail, but no call back.

Not Worth Trying Them At All!
Beyond annoyed at the moment, it is looking like this could end up becoming a chargeback situation.
Bought a 3D printer from CCL before christmas as it was on offer. Opened it up when Garden office had been built approx 8 weeks later and all looked ok. Built the printer andthen tried to use it and no matter what got a fault about nozzle temp.
I contacted CCL who told me to email "BOX" their sister company for support. I emailed them and got 1 reply asking if cables were damaged. When I said they were not and the printer was new and had never worked they did not reply again.
I went back to CCL who tried to fob me off with BOX again. I informed the guy on the phone that my purchase was from CCL and not box and they needed to deal with it. After informing them I am aware of my rights and the CRA they arranged a collection via DPD. It was collected the next day and delivered to them on the Friday with proof (tracking).
Not until the following Monday did I get an email stating they had received it. This is the only email I have gotten.
After trying to call several times I ended up emailing complaints to get somebody called "Theo" back in touch basically ignoring my complaint saying its being looked at. Once I pointed out the delay he refused to accept that they got it the previous week saying it was not true. Stated the printer will be sent from them to "BOX" and they would try to fix it. Would not give me any information about timescales or process. He claimed the moment the return was raised I was sent an email outlining all of this. I explained no email had been received and that once again I know it arrived with them the week previous.
I was then "offered" for the email to be resent and again told I was wrong about the delivery date.
I replied asking for the email to be resent and offered screenshot proof from DPD that the printer was indeed received the week previously.
This is when radio silence began. No replies to emails now, no calls answered and live chat just say to email and they cant help.
I am down a printer, my money and just being ignored.
Luckily I paid with mastercard so this offers me some protection should they carry on ignoring me.
I am also lucky enough to have recorded my calls etc with CCL so I am now considering how to proceed with this.
Be aware people, they are certianly not what they were before they were sold in 2021.
