Fuel Consumption
Good day everybody! For years I wanted to own this vehicle. Can't afford a new one. So just this week I could buy this car with reliable 76000 km., and a 7 seater since our son and his family(2 grandchildren)moved with us.
I am very curious to learn experiences with this car, especially the fuel consumption and trouble shooters.
Thanks, best regards, Jo

V6 Pajero
In my country, for some reason, still in 2011 they continue to buil the second generation of pajero. Mine it´s a nice, simple, old school reliable car that you can not buy now days. Forget about electronics, this 4x4 has everything all an enthusiast needs: power, confort, superb off road driving and heart. It's not what I call fuel efficiency experience, but when you drive it, you just forget abouta that.

Overall Reasonable 4x4, Goes Well Off Road. On Roa
Overall reasonable 4x4, goes well off road. on road top heavy & always have to correct steering to compensate. Have maintained engine well, however blew both head gaskets due to sludge forming in radiator & blocking channels.
This time head gaskets have gone again due to a top water pipe between heads.
this blew ,engine was switched of straight away but still blew gaskets.
Motors prone to blowing gaskets at the smallest of water loss.
Would not buy another, even though i cant fault other areas.
motor has done 182000km sad.

Hey Now That I've Had This Mitsubishi Pajero For 6
Hey now that I've had this Mitsubishi Pajero for 6 months approx and taken it out into the desert I must say it never fails to impress. Takes on the dunes with ease, an extremely comfortable family 4x4, no engine or transmission hang ups, moves effortlessly on any terrain. Good mileage, great looks, wouldn't trade it in for anything. An awesome vehicle, looking foward to the 2007 model.

I Own A 2006 Pajero, Fantastic Vehicle Though Not
I own a 2006 Pajero, fantastic vehicle though not responsive as a 2 litre Honda at the signal. It does ferry a family comfortably from A to B. It is sturdy and stylish with an average audio system and twin zone airconditioning. Not exactly a serious off-roader for dune bashing. The Pajero is an ideal family 4 x 4 for trips to the beach, the odd camping trip and long distances. Mileage is good with around 650kms to the tank. Get one you wont regret it.
Hello. I've red yr.comment with interest. Purchased a 3.0 v6 7 seats 2006, 76000km.to be collectes on june 5 2013. Looping forward. Frist impression is a solid reliable vehicle. Already owe a Pejero Penin ext.2001, 60.000km. with great pleassure. I will later comment my experience.

The Mitsubishi Pajero 3000 V6 Is The Best All Roun
The Mitsubishi Pajero 3000 V6 is the best all rounder as far as 4x4's go in my humble opinion. Excellent build quality and robust engines. Buy one with a history as repairs can be expensive.

I Have Been Driving 4x4's All My Working Life. Sta
I have been driving 4x4's all my working life. Started off with the Landcruiser (I've owned the last three models, including the LX470). Last year I moved on to the Range Rover 4.0 - what a bloody disaster. There should be a law preventing people who have owned or driven a Japanese 4x4 from buying a Range Rover. It was full of gadgets and electronics, but never worked for more than a week without one problem or the other. I decided to go back to my roots and try a Pajero 3.0V6. What joy, the sheer pleasure. Having suffered at the hands of a Range Rover, the Pajero is like a dream come true. 100% reliable (and frankly speaking, what more can a man ask for in an off-roader). Plenty of leg room up front and in the back, plenty of storage space. Excellent airconditioning (provided your sitting up front). Hard to beat for what it offers. It's not a posers vehicle, but it does turn heads, especially in black with crome bull bars, crome spare wheel cover, crome ladder, chrome tail light covers and alloy wheels. I bought a stick shift just for a change, but I'm regretting it now because of the lever play and poor gear ratios. My Pajero takes me to work everyday and on the weekends it tows my jetski to the beach and all I can say to those of you who have never owned a Pajero - buy one and you will never look back.
