Good But Static

This is a nice small place that has ok service. The food is what you would expect for the price- whilst it is not perfect it does seem to be fresh and well cooked.

We have been going here for a number of years and the menu dosent seem to have changed and the portions have become smaller and smaller.

I would recomend but only for a cheap/basic night out.

Gianni Restarurant Has Excellent Food Marred By A

Gianni Restarurant has excellent food marred by a rude manager. I had arranged a party for 14 of us and had noticed the website said you could take your own wine for a corkage charge. Upon arriving with my wine for my guests he told me it would be a staggering £8 per bottle corkage!! The Manager said it is because they do not want you bringing in your own wine (why say you can on the website!!!) I decided to only put out 4 bottles of wine as I had not anticipated it being so expensive but the manager then went to my guests confiscating their bags and climbing uder the table to check we werent hiding any more bottles. I found the whole episode very embarrassing especially when he picked up my friends handbag and was about to take that too!

Oh What An Atmosphere! I Love A Party With A Happy

Oh what an atmosphere! I love a party with a happy atmosphere, So let me take you there, ... and friendly staff, great authentic italian food cooked by italian chefs. Busy, happy, friendly, noisy, all italian establishment. Its like a little piece of Italy has been carved out and tucked into a side street in Cheltenham. Always seems to be busy which in itself is a great sign. Fantastic flavoured sauces compliment the well cooked variety of Pasta, and at such great value. Me and 'er in doors went there yesterday and had half a litre of wine, 2 main pasta dishes and coffee.....and got change from 3 tenors (excuse the pun!). If you want a true italian experience don't miss this one.Bad points...well sort of...don't do pizzas, but choice on rest of menu makes up for that. If I did have to be extra critical, they need to get some more REAL italian desserts to complete the authenticity
