The staff were nice and welcoming, friendly and delivered a good service. I would strongly recommend other people to purchase at Sleepmasters.

Worste Company Ever

People stay away from this company. They take your money, promise you delivery and then they dissappear. Be careful.

Catchpenny Company

Not a lot to be said I paid the price of buying a cheap bed from a company that is only there to separate me from my money

I bought 2 beds from this company a total of approximately £400 pounds one bed has only been used 3 times since I purchased it the other hasn't been used at all

the used bed collapsed at night leaving the occupant no other option than sleeping on the floor

the next day was a weekend and the shop would not discuss or address the problem saying that they would send an engineer to assess the problem but I would have to ring this number to start the ball rolling

when we called this number a very disinterested person on the other end of the line said that they would send an engineer out in about three weeks and we would have to wait for him to arrive between 12.00 and 5.00

when he arrived it was obvious that he would declare that it was all our fault as we had not assembled the bed correctly please sign here goodbye

to the most incompetent person it is clear that the whole construction is flimsy

with the box section frame is made from square box section tube in a 20g steel the legs it sits on being 280mm long and 20mm diameter and any side movement will cause the support to twist and then surprise surprise the whole lot will collapse

due to the weight of a normal body

In summary a product that is not fit for purpose at an elevated price using an incompetent engineer commenting on his own companies product for a management and staff that couldn't careless because they have got your money and that's what they are in business for and you don't know what you are talking about

when challenged on there own findings their reply is for you to employ another engineer to present your side of the case which they will find unacceptable so why don't I go away and stop bothering them

my advice to them watch out as I am now following this up and may well take legal action and ensure that their reputation is broadcast to the world

2 Vinyl Couches And Recliner Peeling

I had a 20 year old vinyl couch before. Perfect. This peeled after 4 years. All the thin vinyl gone, down to cloth backing.

Expensive Bed, Disappointing And Uncomfortable

I am 5ft2 and about 9 stone. I purchased 2 single beds to push together, only 1 is slept in. I paid over £900 each. Just had an "engineer" out today to assess, the sagging and dipping, the buttons that had fell off were pushe back on, and I was advised the 3.5 cm drop at one end of the mattress to fall within the 5cm leaway. The mattress digs in me where the buttons come away. Extremely uncomfortable.

The engineer suggested that he just swaps my mattress with the spare one..... but that would still leave me with an unusable mattress.

I refused to sign the report as I did not agree with the findings. I will go back to be sons tomorrow to complain again.

I can,t believe the poor quality, dips, sagging and falling apart of such an expensive mattress and the company not taking responsibility.

Sensofoam Seasons Supreme Sleepmasters Double Divan Set

We bought our bed in 7/3/13, and very quickly the mattress felt lumpy, I'd been critically ill, and even though we rotated the mattress, monthly, as it's a non turn mattress, we always felt like we were about to fall of the edge of bed, when your suffering from a disability this is horrendous.

We contacted Bensons and they sent a guy out to check the bed out, when he unzipped the mattress, I was horrified to see the mattress had split from top to bottom, it looked like someone had cut right through the foam. After a heated debate with the shop, they supplied a new mattress, yes after a few months the mattress fells the same, we've unzipped it can't see any splits this time, but it looks all lumpy.

So we paid over £1000 for a basically rubbish bed it's 3 years old guaranteed for 5 years, but what's the point, if we get another bed from them, after a few months it will be as bad as ever.

Won't be buying any bed from them again, off to an independent, buying the which magazine Sealy bed, can't wait for a good nights sleep.

Erecting Bed At Home

Several years ago I bought top of range king-size metal-framed bed. Almost £1,000. No men in my family. They dumped it in my room and refused to erect it. Bed is great. But refusing to put it together when it cost all that? Still niggles me.daughters bed from elsewhere...that was erected and cost half that!

Cardboard?

Bought a sleepmasters bed with a savoy mattress 2 years ago, cost nearly £1200 because we thought spend a by more and get some quality - how wrong we were, firstly the divan collapsed and after a lot of haggling with bensons - who said we were being "overactive" - agreed to change half the divan and gave us some more screws for the headboard as apparently this was also pulling the divan apart - headboard better made than the bed!

12 months later the same thing has happened - just out of guarantee, so we had to buy a new base - a sealy, much better and half the price. I decided to pull the old divan apart to see the problems and to my dismay found it put together with 2"x 1" wood and what can only be described as. Cardboard for the top, awful and to top it off the mattress is now sagging. Absolute waste of money and a shocking disgrace!!!!!

Bed Sagging After 2 Days

We bought a Sleepmasters Royal Crown Ortho Super King Divan from Bensons and was really excited to get it. We had our old Seally for 7 years and being 5 months pregnant, we thought it was time to treat ourselves with a new one.

After the second night of sleeping on the bed, it was sagging in and you could visibly see where we slept the previous night when we got into bed. I contacted Bensons who said that it is totally normal and the bed needs to settle, but they agreed that it should not be sagging this quickly. I was advised to turn the mattress every week and that it would get better, and if it did not they would send someone out to check it if it did not improve within 4 weeks. After 3 weeks we could stand it no longer, with my husband and I both developing backache, and I contacted them. Outcome of the report was that it has not sagged enough to be seen as a fault!

Totally ridiculous that a bed costing more than £800 sags after 2 nights! DO NOT BUY THIS BED!

I want to kick myself for not putting my foot down about the quality of the product earlier. We have now had to endure a bad quality mattress for months and I don’t feel like there is any light at the end of the tunnel.
