Astraseal installed high spec, secure by design (police approved) double glazed UPVc windows to our home in a day. The fitters installed six windows and a set of patio doors in a day. Nothing was too much trouble for them on what was a long day. Astraseal use the Rehau profile which is one of the best in the business for security and warmth.

Astraseal also installed aluminium bi-fold doors. The person in the office went to extra lengths to arrange for integral blinds in the bi-fold doors. Overall the three of them were very helpful and customer focussed. The prices were competitive. I would recommend Astraseal.

Win-dor tried to force me into having plastic trims on the internal fittings when I had specifically asked for them not to be used. They also produced my arched window with the incorrect amount of bars. The fitting was shoddy and done as quickly as possible so the fitters could get home early. They were rude and aggressive towards me, trying to make me back down and have the easy option.

The MD only ever demanded payment and NEVER wanted to put anything right, court threats were their first port of call.

I tried to seek help in mediation but they are not a member of any organisation, so be warned, my case was dismissed as their workmanship was Shoddy and lacked care and my contract specified NO Trims.

We are very pleased that we chose Astraseal to supply and install our new orangery.

From start to finish Astraseal provided a very professional and friendly service.

The surveyor who came out to discuss our requirements was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good advice which resulted in a first class finished result.

Astraseal took care of everything from design, surveying, applying for and gaining planning permission through to installation and commissioning, all which made it a completely stress free process.

The quality of the product and the service from the company is second to none. We would have no hesitation in recommending Astraseal to anyone who is looking to replace doors and windows or add a new glazed construction to significantly enhance their home.

The fabrication left a lot to be desired.

Installation was poor and required fitters to return so we could open and close the doors properly.

The French doors had to be replaced due to dents and scratches

They damaged my staircase walls along with the staircase bannisters.

I even got upto directorship level who simply ignored my E-mail.

We have just had several new windows and a door fitted and am delighted with the whole package. The team in the Milton Keynes office were really helpful and we had agreed a price within 15 minutes. They had warned that there can be some damage when fitting, but once finished there was no damage at all. The windows look great and the fitters did a great job. The price was a fair bit lower than I had expected as well. The overall package was so good that this is the first time I've felt inclined to write an online review for a product! Will definitely use them again.

What more can you ask!!

The salesman called, he offered us `matching lead work` in the side panel as was in the front door, which no other company could and a price that represented good value, so we chose the design and ordered the doors. Then we had a communication to say the door design we had ordered was not available in the size we required for the utility door…something the salesman should have known you would have thought?

Anyway, we agreed to a change of door design and installation was scheduled for the 1st of July. The day before, we received a call, the side panel was not ready but they would go ahead and fit the doors….warning signs.

The two doors were fitted and even though `side by side` they had two different handles, which the company later changed so they matched and three attempts later the side panel was eventually fitted on the 29th July, nearly a month later. First it didn’t fit, then it was smashed whilst being loaded on the van, then it wasn’t loaded on van at all and only after we complained was it fitted on the day promised.

The communication, from all departments, whilst things were not going to plan, has been very good and the finished article (from a distance) looks very nice, pity the composite door doesn’t exactly colour match the frames and nor are all the accessories the same `gold` colour….something we feel the salesman should have mentioned (after the installation we found it is mentioned in the brochure on page 34)….but the glazier has done a superb job on the glass work.

The path we have `taken` with Astraseal has been long and not without its frustrations but we are pleased with the end result…..we got there in the end.

We had replacement windows and conservatory installed to replace poor quality installations by the previous owners of the property. Not only did we have a better quality, but much improved security. Both the windows and conservatory were fitted by a first class tradesman who really impressed me by the excellent job he made of the lead flashing.

There were one or two problems with some glazed units, but these were very quickly replaced.

We are very pleased with the quality, choice of finish and most of all, the installation. This is our second experience with Win-dor Astraseal.

Windor advised the replacement glass roof would reduce rain noise, be self cleaning and be warmer in winter and cooler in summer. All benefits obtained, except the "cooler in summer". The glass roof has proved warmer in summer than the predecessor Polycarbonate roof.

The installation by the Windor team who had built the original conservatory was again excellent,swift,clean and highly efficient in removal of old roof and installation of the new glass one.

Bought a conservatory, soffits & fascia-boards and new windows throughout the house 2013. The company were very good at working to our timetable and we were able to discuss our exact requirements with the salesman/manager who did not pressure us into anything we didn't want. There was a reasonable amount of choice in glass patterns, etc and having the showroom in Bicester Park with different styles available to see was very helpful. The quote was competitive and the work was carried out to a good standard by and large by polite, respectful and generally tidy workmen. The only thing that let them down was when we had a few minor glitches - trying to get hold of someone in customer service who could make a decision was often very difficult & frustrating (promises of call backs which never came, poor communication within the company about our calls) and in the end we went directly to the managing director's PA who was brilliant and very efficient & effective. Happy to say that we are now very satisfied with the final results. The windows are fitted well, no drafts, and the conservatory is as we wanted. The only thing I would say is don't be sold on the 'self-cleaning glass' for a conservatory roof - it isn't!
