Destroyed A 98 Year Old's Birthday Party - Thank You So Much
I only rated this company BAD because an AWFUL rating was not available!
Here’s what happened. Judge for yourself:
I wanted to send flowers to my aunt in Greece for her 98th birthday from the family in the US.
Direct2Florist RUINED that surprise. THANKS Direct2Florist!!!
My aunt lives in a small town just west of Corinth on the Gulf. It’s not remote (10 minutes outside Corinth, a fairly good sized city), but it’s an hour and a half from Athens, the capital.
The problem arose, essentially because these turkeys, sorry…Direct2Florist…elected to use a florist that was an hour and a half away…in Athens.
I was happy to pay 65 Euros to have a bouquet delivered to my aunt for her birthday. Unfortunately, Greece is in the middle of a heat wave. So instead of attempting to contact the recipient (normal procedure in the rest of the civilized world!) DIRECT2Florist left the bouquet on the front porch. Please keep in mind, they had a telephone number for the house, my telephone number, and my email.
As a result, my cousin found the wilted bouquet on the porch the next morning, having sat out in 100 degree weather all night.
SUUUPER…Happy Birthday!!!
Oh, and the message we included in the order was NOT DELIVERED AT ALL.
After initially thanking me for the bouquet, my cousin finally confessed that the delivery was terrible, and asked me not to use these people again. She explained what had happened and said she had called the florist in Athens to complain. The florist told her they didn’t have another truck going to Corinth for 2-3 days, and hung up on her. (So you get excellent customer service - at no extra charge!)
Once I heard about the problem, I complained to Direct2 Florist in England. After no response at all for a few days, I finally wrote to the webteam, who seem to be the only people who respond at this company.
After asking for more information over a couple days, DIRECT2Florist suggested that I settle the matter for a $20 credit on the order.
Sure….no problem…RUIN an 98 YEAR OLD’s birthday for twenty bucks. Sounds fair to me!
Just one minor question: R U KIDDING ME??
Moral of the story: The next time you want to RUIN someone’s special event, be SURE to use these people.
Otherwise…stay away from them. It’s a nice looking website run by a bunch of con-men.

Do Not Use - Appalling Service!!!!.
Really not impressed.
Ordered a spring vibrant bunch of hyacinths, Ganzia's, daisy's and roses for my friend who has been very ill.
I was emailed by a lady who said the florist i chose could not deliver. When i asked her if the flowers would be the same as i ordered she assured me they would. I explained about my friend and said it was important they where.
I was horrified when my friend sent me a photo thanking me for the flowers. She received cheap carnations, tulips, chrysanthemum and NOTHING like i ordered & paid for.
I emailed them to say i was not happy and was told the florist would go collect them. As you cam imagine i was appalled at this and had to immediately call the florist to tell them not to as my friend was not aware of the situation.
I still have had no response from Direct2Florist or an apology.

Be Aware: Direct2florist Is Fraudulent!

Placed an order. Never received an order confirmation, but my credit card was charged and no floral arrangement (for a funeral) ever delivered. None of my followup emails were responded to. I have disputed with my credit card.
Also, do not trust the fake reviews on their website. I placed a negative comment, complaining of their non-delivery, non-response, and they never posted my review. I suspect all other "reviews" are purely fake. If you search online, you will see that others have shared a similar experience: they posted a negative comment and the comment was never posted.
The most painful part: this was a floral arrangement for a very dear family member in Italy. I felt SO sorry I trusted Direct2Florist.
Be sure to search online for reviews of Direct2Florist before placing an order.
Very Easy To Use
Was recommended by a friend to use Direct2florist to send flowers in the UK. The ordering process was very user friendly but better still the recipient loved her flowers. Thank you for your easy to use service!

Cheap Garage Flowers Not Even In Colours Specified!
We spent 3 days choosing a thoughtful bouquet for a very good friends funeral on the other side of the country. We eventually chose a nice scottish themed blue and whitebouquet of flowers and thistles. We got a friend to take a photo of the flowers which were a cheap bunch or red and pink garage flowers badly tied! 50% refund offered but I can't send my scottish friend flowers again, it was the last time I could! The last review of the florists in Barrow in furness says the same thing as well but I found that out too late! Also florist2florist are the same company!
I have just had appalling service, outright lies told about the reason for failure to deliver on time, no compensation offered and my comments on their Facebook page have been deleted. Use at your peril!
