Bam-Bou, Soho

Bambou on Charlotte Street serves really delicious food - I believe the cuisine is Vietnamese/French fusion. Dishes are designed for family style sharing and i have never had a bad dish there. For the most part the staff are knowledgeable and happy to recommend dishes. However last time i visited this restaurant we bought a bottle of wine, we did not end up finishing this and actually only drank about half. When we asked for a cork to take this home we were informed that the restaurant did not allow this. When then spoke to someone more senior about this who actually started shouting at us - I couldn't believe it and had to ask them to please calm down. Such a shame as this put me off returning to what is otherwise a great restaurant.
