Khyam Igloo....best Tent I Have Owned. I Have Had

Khyam Igloo....Best tent i have owned. I have had Colemans and Vangos but nothing touches this for ease of use, comfort and value for money.

I liked the look initially, the green colour looks well against the black trim. It is very well made, great materials and quality of workmanship.

The dual entry available with this tent makes for keeping a clean tent, one end for storage and muddy stuff.

The easiest tent to erect, takes me 4/5 mins including footprint groundsheet on my own. All in one pitching means your dry in minutes if putting up in the rain.

Id have liked to know the nessecity of using the footprint ground sheet when i purchased it but at available for under £20, was not really an issue.

All in all , having used this tent many times now on many flyfishing expeditions i rate this piece of kit as invaluable. I dont have to worry about it from year to year. It really is like an old friend when it comes out in the spring.

Cant go wrong with this tent!

We Have Just Taken Our Igloo Out For The First Tim

We have just taken our Igloo out for the first time. We purchased a footprint groundsheet at the same time and taking on board a review that rain had run down the side of the tent and into the space between the sheet and the sewn in ground sheet, we tucked the edges well in. Or so we thought until the next morning. After a night of heavy rain and wind the ground sheet had flipped back out and we had water on top of the ground sheet even under the bedroom area.

This is a problem other people have highlighted and Khaym said to tuck the edges well under but as proved this doesn't always work. The ground sheet really needs to be about 4 inches smaller. We are going to try pitching the tent without pegging out the ground sheet if it doesn't work we will be trimming the sheet.
