Awful Customer Service & Complaints Department
Lending stream offered me unaffordable loans. I made a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman who upheld my complaint. As part of putting things right, the Financial Ombudsman told Lending Stream they must remove adverse information from my credit report. This ruling was made in early 2020.
Fast forward to 2022, the adverse information is still on my credit report. I contacted the complaints department and was told this would be rectified and would take 30 - 45 days. Fast forward again another 50 days and this information is still on my credit report.
When I contact customer services they are no use. They claim the complaints department does not have a telephone number and can only be contacted via email. They claim they cannot transfer my call to their supervisor/manager. I was told by one agent that a supervisor/manager would call me back, and surprise surprise I never received a call back.
I asked yet another agent what professional/trade bodies this company is a part of and they told me they weren't a member of any. Their website says differently. The agent could not confirm nor deny whether they were a member.
If I don't receive a satisfactory response from this company I will have no choice but to raise my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman again, and I will also raise complaints to the Information Commissioners Office and any trade bodies this company might be a part of.

Very Fast In My Bank
The payments are very high but for short term lending it is good. The money was in my bank in probably about 90 seconds. If you, like me are desperate for a loan of less than £1000 it is really good. I would recommend it to some of my friends if they are really desperate but I will have to budget my outlay so that I can pay the amount back each month or earlier.

Q&A
Do lending stream send out letters?
No they are online I have never received a letter through the post but I have received emails to my email address that I have registered with them
Does it effect credit rating?
Can I pay the loan back early without any added charges?
How much would I have to pay back if I borrowed £500 and how much a month would that be?
If I had a loan of 100 how much do I have to pay back and how many months and how much a month do I have to pay?
How can I duplicate this operation on licence at another jurisdiction outside the UK?
If I borrowed £1,000, how much would monthly payments be?
I had a £100 loan today. Is it possible to get another £50 on top?
yeah i wouldnt recomend it mind they charge some of the higest intrest rates even for a payday loan company. 2015 is a new year try and start it with a fresh and say no to borrowing. :-)
Do they send letters to home addresses?
I don't think so, they send email and sms to communicate your status and offers.
I currently have 3 active loans with Lending Stream. I only owe £80 on the first loan I got out. If I pay that off, will my credit limit automatically go up? I've paid every time without fail.
It will go up overtime, once you have showed your a good customer. maybe not straight away, my best solution get them all paid off before borrowing again and always remember if your borrowing money to pay off other debts then you definitely need help and contact stepchange it a debt charity they dont charge any fees and will help put your mind at rest. :)
