Could Not Disagree More With The Other Reviewer. O

Could not disagree more with the other reviewer. Only people in there, and had to wait too long for the wrong food, taste was lacking.

Runcorn Isn't Known For Its Restaurants, But The M

Runcorn isn't known for its restaurants, but the Mirchi Indian is an absolute gem. It only opened recently, right on the high street, so great location. We're big Indian food fans but have had to travel to find somewhere nice, but this place is really modern with some dishes that we've never tried before. Its the sort of place that the staff give lots of recommendations and you aren't scared to try something new, because its always so good. The staff are fantastic. Stubbs, the manager gives some of the best service we've had, and makes you feel very welcome, as do all the other guys in there. After we'd been there once, he remembered our names and what we liked. After one takeaway, he remembered our address. Doesn't sound that much, but it makes you feel really welcome, as do things like a complimentary fruit cocktail at the end of your meal- so refreshing. The food is so fresh and good portions. We know we can ask for something spicier or milder and mix the dishes around if we wanted to. The only downside, is that we've never been able to finish a meal, as we're so full!! The Mirchi is somewhere we'll be going back to again and again, for an evening or a takeaway.
