Mount Mascal Stables, Bexley

i am so sorry to complane about mount mascal but there are 2 instructers that have rurrind my deauters life ,my deauter loves horse riding and she really likes her instructor but theris 2 instructors are making my deauters instructor leve and my deauter is so upset that instructer was really good and teaut my deauter how to do almost everything and all because of thoes 2 instructors my deauters instructor has to go.

bethore this purchice i would of liked to know if the 2 instructors that have changed everything could get a talcking to.

but my deauter really likes this one pony and we are hopefully going to by it.

bethore this desaster hapend me and my deauter really loved the stable.

I kept my horse at the sister yard to Taylor's for some time and just felt as if I was being completely ripped off for the £500 odd pounds I was paying for it .

The ménage was completely useless in the winter as it would flood and in the summer was full of kids bombing around on their ponies with no supervision .

The yard manager was the most obnoxious person I have ever met and people used to pussyfoot around her in order to receive an okay service for your horse .

I used to arrive at around 6 to find that my horse had around half a wedge of hay left and he did nothing but loose weight .

I agree with the below review completely . I too also found a member of staff screaming at my mare and even caught one of the staff smacking her round the head with a metal feed scoop .

I would highly recommend you think twice about being in your horse here !!!

Ok where do i start!!

The prices, the rubbish quality of everything, the fact its a chav youth club or that the staff abuse the horses..

My horse was on full liv and went 4 days with NO straw being put in. As i work in london i get down late when the barn was shut and was often stuck !! Water low- field rug left on.

The list is endless!

The stable owner at the time.. Leigh used to drag my horse in with 2 or 3 others. I seen the staff hit the horses with frustration and 90% of the staff are under 16 trying to handle my 16hh.

The stable owner john is the rudest old git youl ever meet- used to drive up my horses behind when i was walking down the lane in the dark.

Mount Mascal is a friendly riding school with good facilities. The staff are friendly and all of the ponies and horses are completley bombproof. They may sometimes need a good leg on but that is what you get with riding school ponies. There is a Pony Club, a bar and a gallery, where people can sit and watch. In the winter, the ponies don't look very clean, and are usually mucky with their long coats. It doesn't seem like they are groomed every day. The teaching is very good and the hacking in Joydens Wood is beautiful. For Pony club members, there are tests for you to take, which you prepare for in your lessons. there are also achievement badges like road riding and feeding, and activities which you can do in the holidays. All in all, a brilliant riding school for novices to experienced.

Great riding stables with a variety of ponies and horses for all. There are oppurtunities to ride into joydens wood or take a lesson if prefered. the riding instructors at Mount Mascal are really friendly and helpful to improve your riding skills.
