Incredible Reliability And Value
I have 411,000 miles on my 2003 Infiniti QX4. I have had since new. I have replaced U-Joints, blower motor for heat and A/C. After that, it has been headlight and other bulbs, Serpentine belts, tires and batteries. Front pads and rotors at 162,000 then again at 350,000. Rears at 300,000. Plugs at 215,000 and again at 300,000(because I didn't have platinum tipped the first time. Rear main seal at about 325,000 as well as a couple of oil filter fitting gaskets. All told other than the maintenance items such as brakes, tires, bulbs, belts, batteries, I have had this 20 mpg vehicle for almost 13 years and spent less than $1,500 on the other repairs. I did change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles or so and of course I replaced wiper blades.
This vehicle handles great in snow when in 4 wheel drive and is still tight
I have never owned a more reliable and efficient vehicle. I continue to trust and drive this over 3,000 miles per month.

Over All, The Infiniti Qx4 Has Been A Great Suv. I
Over all, the Infiniti QX4 has been a great suv. I purchased mine used, with roughly 60k miles and now have 130k on the vehicle. I have made sure to take care of all the scheduled maintenance and have to say I'm happy with my choice.
To sum it up, I am very pleased the the QX4 and would recommend the vehicle to anyone considering purchasing one. The only thing I wish, is that they would come out with a newer model because I would like to get another. The Q 56 is too big for me, and I'm not persuaded by the aesthetics of the FX, although it drives like a dream.

I Am Very Happy With The Infinity Qx4. I Traded I
I am very happy with the Infinity QX4. I traded in a 2005 Jeep for a 2001 Infinity because of all the problems I was having with the Jeep. I'm hoping that Infinity makes a similar sized replacement within a few years, because I'm going to want another one.

Easily The Best Car I Have Ever Owned, Purchased I
Easily the best car I have ever owned, purchased in 2006 with 35000 miles on it. I've had a Blazer, Montero and ford explorer, J30, I pray this car never wears out !, infinity does not have a replacement for this vehicle.
If it got better gas mileage I'd go buy an extra one and garage it so I could have one for the next 10 years. Great all weather suv, rain, snow and mud are no problem. It has a 5000 lb towing capacity, but you woudl be crazy to tow that much weight, this vehicle is just to small / narrow for that much weight.

The Infiniti Qx4 By Far Is The Best Entry Into The
The Infiniti QX4 by far is the best entry into the luxury SUV market! It drives like a high-end luxury car, yet can faces the demands of an off-road sport utility vehicle. I know, because although most of my driving is in 4 season conditions (including snow) its 'on the fly' 4x on demand is superb! Also, recently I drove over a "roadless" 18,000 ranch, driving through streams, meadows (viewing a moving elk herd), over rotten fallen logs and boulders, and it wasn't at all 'anaemic' as some reviewers give this classic luxury SUV. However, if you're measuring it's 'get up and go' power with freeway passing, it is a bit sluggish, even compared with my wife's 1997 Infiniti J30. My only concern for any Infinity owner is the lack of dealerships spread out over America. The only dealer in Oregon is in Beaverton, and we live in Bend, OR! A learning point here is that Nissan dealers cannot serve all points/needs of an Infiniti. My 1997 QX4 has less than 100k miles, and most people think it is NEW!

Great luxury SUV, Thats why its in the "luxury" class. Performance is good....my rating would be much higher if gas mileage was higher. It's a great vehicle.....and where in the heck is that Bob seeger music coming from? I already checked the cd and the cd changer. Is it possible its programmed into the CD player...what a concept. By the way I'm a tuff reviewer, what can I say as a customer we can influence.
