I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the team at Hensons Estate Agents. Our house sale was stressful from the word go with one thing and another. Hensons assisted at each hurdle, with patience, support and encouragement. They were always available and ready to answer questions we had. All the team went beyond and above to push our sale through. The team spent weeks on the phone chasing solicitors, buyers and other agents along the chain and kept us in the loop throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend them and already have to friends who are thinking of moving. We will definitely use them again for future house moves.

Nothing but terrible communication in that office!

Women who sit NEXT TO EACH OTHER and deny knowing what the other one is doing.

They look the part and talk the talk. The slick suit and shiny car and you rightly feel assured….big mistake….Its only when you ask around in the local community you realize you’re not alone in the Henson housing nightmare. Dig harder and you will find you actually one of many.

They are horrendous in every sense, the complete lack of competence in the office, the lack of communication, the lack of knowledge or professional courtesy on every level. This however its dwarfed by the owner who has absolutely no morals and professional integrity which is probably why one company he held was dissolved previously.

Its simply not worth it..I assure you..life is short and giving Henson’s your business or trust would simply be suicide..

This is a man you just cannot trust in any way, comes across as professional and slick on the surface but absolutely terrible with not a stand of moral fibre in his body. If we has found this out about him first and read the reviews we would of stayed well away. Like the previous reviewer said his reputation locally goes way before him, professionally and personally.

We engaged him on face value, Take our advice stay well clear. We are also reporting him. Do your research, he isn't registered as a Director, the old company that he was attached to has been dissolved. There is no registered company number anywhere that we have found on his literature or the net etc etc. Ask around there are plenty of stories about him locally that testify to his conduct in and out of work.

A real piece of work

Lies lies lies. This man once told us that, "The facts are the facts and whether you knew them or not is irrelevant."

He lied to us about so many things when we moved house. He made promises that he didn't keep and did not care about leaving us without services and possibly even a home after we had booked removals for a date that didn't materialise.

Just ask around locally. His name is associated with so many stories of pain when negotiating and moving. We have been flabbergasted how many people have similar stories about his lies.

Stay away from this agent.

In a hum drum world we chose the longest established and most experienced over newest and (much) cheapest.

Hensons did what they said they would do, delivered up a real buyer at a higher than expected price and showed some real entrepreneurial skill in making the chain work for us.

I had my reservations but the extra commission, more than double that of another estate agency was worth it when the price we got was nearly 18k above the cheap options suggested asking price. Plus Stuart who did all the negotiations was while difficult to get hold of during the day, he did warn us "you wouldn't want an estate agent who wasn't busy" evidently at the top of his game. Good advice, good price, good value.

I tried to sell my property, i found out they made up ppointments, lost the key twice, and put up 2 offers which i never had any written confirmation, i have reported them to the Estate Agency trading .
