Carr Farm Garden Centre Meols

Lovely visit to carr farm cafe today. Pleasant friendly staff. They are a real asset and a nice change from some cafes we visit! Nothing was too much trouble. Quick service and nice food. The atmosphere is good and we will certainly visit again!

Visited here many times. Exoensive but good. Today took my mum in law and decided to get her a cup of tea in the cafe/restaurant. OMG Chaos! Why was no one clearing tables? Everyone we saw was covered in half eaten food on plates. I had to clear a table myself, putting the emoties on another empty table, as most people were doing. I even had to take the seat covers off and shake them as covered in food. Totally unacceotable. Employ someone to clear tables for goodness sake. Left feeling grubby. Amazed there were so many in there as many were complaining.

A garden centre which has grown rather than been designed / thought out. A medley of areas that do not really seem planned, but somewhat placed in a space that was available at the time. There are many dead ends and the place really lacks flow. I was most disappointed with the plant area, which is small and uncared for with many yellowing plants that clearly needed attention. Why do so many garden centres relegate the plants in favour of ornaments, calenders and cafes?! Wouldn't go there for any plants, but maybe for a cup of tea!

A nice day out for the family, with plenty to do for everyone. There's a wonderful range of products and a great coffee shop to sit down and relax in.
