hardsell failed couse paid for retest couldnt offer one till one month later asked for the rest of the course payment back they refused paid £3000 have nothing took to small claims court forms returned saying gone away still persuing.stongly avoid

due to start course paid in full centre informed us pathway had not paid them so now trying trace them if any one can help e mail [email protected]

Called Pathway HGV up and the were very enthusiastic as most sales people are, simply called them to enquire what the costs would be if I did my HGV training through them. I explained that I looked at their website and noticed they offered credit and would like to know roughly how much that would work out for me. They told me that they needed my credit card details to check my credit history, and without thinking - i gave them. I thanked them for the quote and proceeded to check around other companies, in order to get the cheapest price. I decided that I was going to a local trainer (who they would have referred me to anyway). Pathway called me up and I explained that I didn't want the course, the guy spent about 5 minutes arguing with me and eventually I told him that I was going to the same company they would have referred me to anyway and it was working out cheaper as I wouldn't have to pay them. He hung up on me. My girlfriend then called me at work and informed me that Pathway had taken £100 out of my bank account. I was shocked, as I hadn't signed up to anything or agreed anything... they didnt tell me that I had to pay anything at all. I immediately called them and asked them why it had been withdrawn and asked for a refund. The guy told me that it was already being refunded. A week later, the money still wasn't there.... so i called again, and the guy told me that it can take up to 20 days to be refunded.20 days???? I'm sorry but what? I live in the uk, they are in the uk - that means that if they did an electronic transfer, it would take 1 day at the most. I doubt I'll ever see my money again.
