No Confirmation, Delivery Or Communication.
On the 12th of Dec I purchased a pair of Ted Baker specs and did not receive an email confirmation. A couple of weeks later I emailed the company advising that I had not received it and asked them when I would expect delivery. To this day I still have not heard back from them. I've tried calling both numbers on their website and haven't been able to connect to speak with someone.

Great Choice, Service And Price!
Had delivery of my new RayBan this morning and very pleased indeed. I opted for the very thin lens option, due to my high perscription, which was advised by their opticain and they look great. My usual high street optician said that my lenses couldn't even be fitted into this frame and they have been with great success. Delivery was earlier than expected (I was quoted 10 days and they arrived in 8) Their staff and optician were very helpful indeed when I rang, and considering the usual place I go for my glasses said they couldn't be done I am over the moon that they could and I now have them for my holiday next week. Highly recommended.

Long Waiting Time And No Contact.
I can't help but feel disappointed with my latest order from
Specsuperstore. I've ordered twice in the past with no problem but this
time, although they did take payment immediately, I was unhappy with
their communication about my order and felt it necessary to contact the
company myself after two weeks to find out what was going on. I was
reassured but the glasses still did not arrive when I expected them to.
I ordered these glasses with my holiday in mind but it seems now like I
will be going without them. Can't see me using this company again.
1. It is true that I have previously ordered and I was certainly happy with my previous order.
2. I received a confirmation email and then nothing until I contacted you 2 weeks later.
3. I was actually given a specific timeframe which did not materialise.
4. It is also true that I did not mention my holiday because I had complete faith in the dates given due to my previous experiences.
My biggest disappointment however is the way you have acted since I raised this issue. A simple "We're sorry to hear you're not happy with our service on this occasion" would have sufficed and you would have retained a loyal customer. Instead you have chosen to call my honesty into question. I can't help but feel this is poor customer service

Having looked into your order we are aware of the following facts:
(1) Payment is taken on receipt of orders as per our Terms & Conditions which you agreed to when placing your order. This is no different from any other time you have ordered from us for prescription items.
(2) You were kept up to date via email about the status of your order which you were happy with and also after speaking to customer services.
(3) After speaking to customer services we advised of your delivery time based on the graduated prescription lenses you had ordered being fitted into your frame.
(4) We note that from the time schedule given the prescription sunglasses were delivered and signed for by you before this timeframe. No mention of an imminent holiday was ever discussed but we understand that you did indeed receive and sign for them before your holiday.
We are sorry that you were unhappy on this occasion, but we as a company did everything possible to fulfil your order within given timescales for you. which were actually fulfilled beforehand.

Third Pair Excellent Service
Just ordered and received my third pair of prescription glasses from spec superstore, and they have not let me down again.
They didn't have the frame I ordered in stock, but immediately let me know and kept me informed throughout.
Unlike other companies I have dealt with online, they keep in touch and if any problems arise let you know immediately.
The glasses arrived well within the time-scale they quoted. They even upgraded my coating as a gesture of goodwill for the wait.
I will most certainly use again, and would highly recommend this company.

Fantastic Buying Experience!
Ordered a set of Carrera prescription sunglasses from Specsuperstore and they didn’t have the model I wanted in stock however they offered alternative colours at a discounted price and delivered in record time before my holiday! They maintained great comms throughout the transaction and kept me informed all the way regarding delivery. Fantastic service!
Top Notch Service And Products
I ordered my 6th pair of frames in 5 years from Specsuperstore yesterday and would never shop anywhere else for them. I do ask for a price match each time which has always been granted without hesitation.
If anybody is in doubt over buying online, just make sure you have an idea of the frame dimensions you need and you can't go wrong. The first few pairs I bought were probably not quite the perfect fit but I know the right dimensions now and always look forward to buying another pair.
I used to deal with Rowan (the proprietor I believe) but it has been a lady that has helped me over the past few years and she is brilliant.
Good Value Glasses
I bought a nice pair of Vogue glasses from Specsuperstore. Took a while to arrive due to trouble getting hold of the frame, but once they did arrive the prescription was bang on, looked really good and they were good value for money. I did develop a problem with the lens coating, but this has been resolved so all is good. Rowan the proprietor is really helpful.

Very Nice Glasses
I purchased a really nice vogue frame from Specsuperstore having been unable to find it elsewhere. It did take some time to arrive due to supplier issues, communicaiton about this could have been better but due apologies were received. The prescription, when I received my glasses was bang on. I did experience some problems with the coating on the lenses but this has been satisfactorily rectified and I am very happy with my glasses.

Awesome Eyeglasses & Sunglasses!
I'm a huge Ray Ban fan and this time decided to buy my new eyeglasses online after hearing of the big savings that can be made. I tried specs superstore after looking at their great selection of Ray Ban eyeglasses on there store. I had one set of eyeglasses and some prescribed sunglasses which I got a discount on for buying the 2 pairs. Their email support was very helpful along with their guides to entering my strength from my eye doctor.
They arrived yesterday after 12 days and they are Awesome!
Very happy & would definitely recommend to everyone wanting to buy Ray Ban eyeglasses on the internet.
I Had To Wait A Month Longer Delivery Time Than St
I had to wait a month longer delivery time than stated on homepage. We were informed that there were problems with the suppliers in Italy. I had an optometrist (who was not from specsuperstore) provide me with a prescription. I provided this to superspectore and when I got the glasses back things didn't look right when I looked through them. It turns out that the prescription I had been given by this optometrist incorporated a cylinder power which I have not worn before, causing difficulty with my eyesight as I was not used to this. They advised me to wear them in for a week which is not an option for me because I planned to use the glasses after work when not wearing contacts. They did not send me the size that I ordered because according to them the size in that color doesnt exist. I have now sent them back as we agreed on but after over two months I still havent got my money back.
It seems that I'm not the only one who has had a poor experience with this company? This would seem surprising as there are almost all positive reviews on this site. Unfortunately the reason for this is that the company are prepared to question the honesty of reviewers in order to remove any negative comments. I have had my review removed on 2 occasions so far & I am concerned that other reviewers may have had the same experience resulting in Specsuperstore appearing to have universal praise!

Thank you for your feedback. Further to your contact with us we have to point out the main issue with the problem you were experiencing - your vision. As we discussed at length, you are mainly a contact lens wearer and the glasses you had made up were to give your eyes a break at evenings. You confirmed that your contact lenses are of a spherical correction where your glasses prescription incorporated a cylinder power of which your Optometrist prescribed. You described that images were 'slanting' which is one of the characteristics of not being used to a prescription with a cylinder correction after wearing contact lenses for such a long time.
We have advised you on numerous occasions to go back to your Optometrist to have your prescription checked which you have declined to do on every occasion. We also advised you to try them on for a few days permanently to see if the astigmatic correction resolved itself which in 90% of cases does work. We did not carry our your eye examination as this was done in Sweden so we can only go on the information submitted to us when placing your order, which we did in good faith. We have also tried to help and advise you of the problems you were experiencing which your Optometrist should have explained.
Unfortunately there was a two week delay with your frame due to stock issues with our suppliers. Unfortunately this situation was totally beyond our and their control. The frame you ordered is only available in one size which we did advise you of and you accepted.
You have advised us of your plan to return the glasses, which haven't yet been received, and we agreed that your account would be credited. You have had the glasses some six months since they were delivered.
We sincerely apologise about the slight delay with your order but the real problem stems from your prescription which we have advised you on numerous occasions to have your eyes re-examined. The glasses were made up to the exact specification you provided when placing your order. We can only help you further if you have your eyes re-examined to check the values of your prescription from the values you entered when placing your order.
We are still awaiting the return of your glasses and have asked you on numerous occasions to provide us with delivery details of the postal system you used and tracking details. These still haven't been provided after several requests from Customer Services.
