Do Not Shop Here!

I will be taking legal action against this company as many, many reviews indicate that they are doing the same thing they did to me systematically to others. I will also be opening up a website (check back) for those affected to get in touch to join this legal case. I will of course get a reply to say it is being handled by customer service, but this is how they give people the run around.

Here is what happened:

I made an order worth over 200 pounds for next day delivery. This got stuck with Evri on a loop with them saying 'delayed'. I was asked to waited 2 days after Evri stopped updating. Fair enough, and I did. I then got in contact again. I was told a replacement was requested and I would receive a despatch confirmation 'shortly'. I did not receive one shortly nor longly. So I again got in touch. They then told me the replacement is only a request, that it is on hold to give it time for the order to be confirmed as missing or returned to them, and only an apology for being given the wrong information. If it is not returned to them nor confirmed as missing by Evri (which they very often do not confirm) then I do not even know what will happen. I have been led on, clearly. And this process could go on indefinitely. They have my money, and I do not have the products they are contracted to have gotten to me. Evri has clearly lost the package (as is more than too often the case), they know this and are, in essence, insisting on not taking responsibility for getting the products to me in a timely fashion. I got offered 5 pounds for the inconvenience(!). It is Cult Beauty that should deal with the problem they have with the package. Not me. I am a relatively new customer and was looking forward to using Cult Beauty as my go to, there are 5 females in my household who collectively spend a lot on beauty monthly and instead of having gained a lot of business from us, they instead have gotten a negative review. Looking at the other reviews, I am clearly not the only one with the same issues. You will see how dreadful they are. You will also find that employee ratings on glassdoor indicate the whole company is in shambles. I wish I checked all this before giving them my money. Shame on Cult Beauty. I will be leaving negative reviews relentlessly everywhere, letting social media know where I can, creating a chargeback and dispute with my bank, informing trading standards and such organisations and initiating a group legal case if this does not get sorted very quickly.

absolute worst delivery / customer service situation i've ever experienced - fully convinced this was a sham. absolutely incredibly upset. never ordering from here again.

Disgusting!!

Cultbeauty misled my wife. Ordered 2 month ago, nothing received, promised refund never received too. We bought time wasting and apologizes.

Simply sham artists. I’m taking all possible legal actions even the amount is 266 pounds.

So I received item and it was faulty, upon checking I sent the item back using the return label provided by cult beauty

I cannot believe its crazy I’m going round in circles

I paid £220 this was Xmas gift for my daughter

I am devastated no refund item lost in post

Royal Mail contacted with no help advised me to get in touch with cult beauty and ask them to make a claim as the initial label was purchased by them not me

Cult beauty are there customers only they can claim the loss

No help I keep sending messages with barely a non helpful reply

Never Again

Such a horrible shopping experience, no words can describe it.

I've placed an order on 31st October, silly me hoping this would spare my nerves when it comes to last minute Christmas shopping. The site promised the delivery in 15-17 days (shipping to Malta). 28 days in still no indication when the parcel will be delivered. Apparently the parcel got damaged/there are items missing. Investigation taking place etc..

I understand the company is not liable for delivery damages.

I would have much more understanding, if there was a remotely capable team of people behind customer support. Live chat down at all times (wonder why).

The only form of communication is though messages which 1. are normally replied to in 24/48h and 2. seem automated, as if a person was following a script given, or worse automatically written by an AI.

No help whatsoever given at any time.

I am waiting to see what useless excuse will be given in order to avoid compensation for damaged/lost.

Take my advice, and DON'T order from this website.

CULT BEAUTY WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE‼️???…

Since they’ve been taken over by the Hut Group .. they’re customer service is non existent. I’ve been a customer of theirs for years . And they have gone completely southbound.

We all, sadly come across issues with online retailers one time or another .

HOWEVER, judging from previous reviews this seems to be quite a concerning pattern . With reference to dealing with refunds .

I ordered a Advent Calendar £215.00 And YES .. you’ve guessed it .. i didn't receive it .

After endless messaging ( because they no longer take phone calls anymore).

AND PROVIDING THEM WITH SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE OF THE PROBLEM AND OF NON RECEIPT OF GOODS ..

They’re response is .. I’m looking into this , with a good bit of patronising we’re sorry your disappointed , thrown in .

AFTER ENDLESS REPEATING YOURSELF EXPLAINING THE SAME PROBLEM.

‼️ I HAVE NOW REPORTED THIS ISSUE TO ACTION FRAUD ‼️

It’s not what I wanted to do ,

HOWEVER, continuous DELAYING TACTICS .. OF NOT RESOLVING THE PROBLEM. AND TAKING MONEY FOR ITEMS NOT RECEIVED ..

In an ideal world .. I wanted it to be resolved in a PROFESSIONAL MANNER .

I’m so sorry to hear that . I feel your frustration. There’s nothing worse than having to deal with issues like this. Especially when you’ve probably got a lot more important things to deal with ?..

It’s energy absorbing, Where you feel you have to be constantly on their back , chasing them for a response or a reasonable resolution.

£20.00 is nothing to be sniffed at . It’s your hard earned cash, which is important . As you should be respected as a valued customer to them .

The trouble is , these type of industries never learn unless they’re exposed on a big level , like reporting them to TRADING STANDARDS. CAB .. And obviously doing what we’re doing , which is posting on every possible social media platform and reviewers sites .

It’s a real shame . That we have to come to this level to-get any reasonable response whatsoever.

The only other things I would suggest other than what your already doing is YES KEEP UP THE POSTS ON EVERY PLATFORM.. INSTAGRAM.. FACEBOOK.. TWITTER. That’s what I had to do ,whilst also unfortunately threatening them with an ACTION FRAUD CASE .. and Threatening to report them to trading standards . I’ve just got my refund after doing all of the above . Totally insane isn’t it ?..

BUT PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP .. keep pushing for your request. YOUR MONEY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS EVERYONE ELSE’S . As again,… so should you be also valued as a customer to them .

I know it sounds totally over the top, But hey , if they conducted themselves as professional people ? Then we’d probably wouldn’t be having this conversation?..

I use cult fairly regularly. I have used twice this month they have offered samples with delivery but they haven’t arrived and I cannot find anyone to ask. The phone doesn’t work,,

For The First Time, My Wife Ordered 8-9 Items From

For the first time, my wife ordered 8-9 items from Cult Beauty to be delivered to Oman. To our surprise, once we received the delivery around 4-5 main items were missing, even after paying fully for all the items. Even the bill inside the box shows all the items are being paid for.

Its been over 10 days since we are sending them repeated emails without getting any response. To add to our horror their phone line are also not working. It's absolutely a dead silence at their side.

We are feeling cheated on POOR DELIVERY and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE by Cult Beauty.

Stealing Money From Your Account

I bought ONE item however Cult charge me TWICE!. Littery money went from my account twice within few minutes. 

I emailed Cult customer service however

 no replies for 7 days now. They ignoring all my emails.

I will have to report to trading standard too ... saying that its shocking what could happen from this organisation...

Best Customer Service I Have Expierenced. Ever!!

I ordered on Cult beauty for the first time beauce they had an amazing goodie bag over a spend, I needed a few things so this was perfect. I did have proplems with my delivery due to Hermes, Not cult beauty. But I called and a lovely girl got my cause and she was so so helpful. She ensured I got my products and kept me up to date and I finally got by beauty supplie. She gave me her email and told me to let her know if i needed anything else.. so of course I did :) and she got my item sent via DHL (not the dreaded Hermes) and sent me a little sample of something I mentioned to her on the phone. She made me feel so special and I felt so happy with the service I got. My parcle arrived the next day, and I couldnt be happier. This is how you should feel when shopping. Amazing products, amazing web site, amazing staff.. and the AMAZING adviser :) thank you so much!! highly recommend!!!!!
