I Have Used The Munal Tandoori A Few Times Before
I have used the Munal Tandoori a few times before to get a takeaway, usually when I visit friends who live just around the corner.
The restaurant always seems to have people eating there (a good sign). The menu reads a lot like a standard Indian, although the cuisine is actually Nepalese, which obviously has a lot of crossover with what we would consider to be 'normal' Indian food.
The curries themselves are very tasty, although they seem to be fairly oily (the onion bhaji in particular was very oily), however this did not spoil my enjoyment! One great positive is the portion sizes are massive - I ordered bhaji's, rice, roti bread and a vegetable main dish, which came to about £10 and there was enough to have it for 2 meals, both of very decent sizes!
I would definitely recommend Munal to anyone who fancies a substantial portion of curry in Barnes.
