Del Toro, Lisburn

First time we went, couldn't have faulted it bar the wait eventhough it was empty, service was grand but it wasn't busy. However, went again last Sunday and it was a different story, service was below standard, unstable table and felt insulated to be served tinned custard which was described as homemade. As a restaurant owner myself I would have been ashamed if my chef served that to any of my customers. Would recommend asking for a small soft drink as a large glass, which was only 3/4 full and was warm, cost 3.60. Won't be back again and would not reccomend to anyone.

I found this restaurant to be wonderful - excellent food and service. I loved the decor and all the extra touches were beautiful - scented candles in the toilets, blankets on the terrace if you get chilly. I found it to be extremely good value for money - for those who complained about it being expensive all I can say is that they must be used to dining at McDonald's! You would be mad not to give this place a try!

Very Very POOR restaurant. I went here and the hoast saw us waiting and left us standing there for nearly five mins before coming over. Drinks were served prompt and orderd food. Waited and waited and waited and waited some more. After seeing other people served with there food who had come after us and nearly a hour and asking three times walked out.

Stinking service, stinking food & stinking prices!

It took an hour to get our food as they cook from fresh apparently, table wasn't ready for 30mins after original booking time.

The prices were sky high & the portions were poor. Staff were rude & couldn't understand why we were annoyed at waiting over an hour for our meal!

had my first meal here and will be back, the staff could not do enough for you and so friendly not long to wait for food after it was ordered, and the steak was one of the best i have ever had saying is you get what you pay for well done to all cant wait to get back

Haven eaten in this beautiful restaurnt now 4 times I can confidentally say that this is a well thought out , family run business with a clear emphasis on excellent food. I would call myself a fussy eater and indeed I have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world and would happily recommend this restaurant to even Michael Winner. I would also be a particular med rare steak person and would commend the chefs on its perfectness on every visit. The seafood is also to die for and the portions are in abundance. I found the staff to be very attentive on each visit and the owners do everything to make your visit a happy one. Lisburn is very lucky to have at last got a 5 star culinary establishment. Unfortunatelty I think the last reviewer was have been in a bad mood that day!

I was very excited by this new restaurant opening in lisburn. Inside it is beautifully decorated, although as a parent, even a woman who wears long skirts, the candles on the stairs, floors everywhere may have looked nice but created a hazard to overcome everywhere you step. The food was as confusing as the name- italian, steakhouse, spanish name?! The steaks were cooked well done instead of med rare, twice. The staff were rude and the bill was ridiculously high for the poor service and food recieved. A steakhouse that cannot cook a steak to order and charges such high prices is not the kind of restaurant I so desperatley wanted to find. Disappointing to say the least.
