A Scam - Avoid

Ordered but still not delivered after 7 weeks despite phoning and emailing.Website now gone and phone dead except for the answerphone message. Am now pursuing a refund through my credit card company. Thank goodness I did not spend a great deal.

I Wish I'd Read The Reviews Before They Stole £20 Off Me

As if people with a new baby have got loads of spare cash, they can afford to just throw it away.

^Aimee^ said they'd resend my item - it never arrived, I can't get through to them on the phone and they no longer reply to emails.

This was my experience too. I ordered a product which never arrived. They promised to resend it several times but nothing ever came. They then stopped answering the phone. I since found out that the telephone number is actually a money making number so they got even more money off me that way. My email was also not replied to and the matter is now in the hands of my credit card company. I will never use this company again. I wish I had found this site before i ordered. I hope other people heed the advice and avoid this company.

How awful, I also didn't check out reviews until AFTER ordering. But please please - contact your bank - even if you didn't pay with credit card, they can get the payment back for you. If an item is not delivered within a certain number of days there is a window for them to retrieve your money. I will also be advising Google, Trading Standards etc as this is so amazing in this day in age this company has managed to get away with this !

Avoid - This Is A Scam Website

Further to the numerous posts which detail previous incdidents where they have ordered from this website and failed to receive goods or a refund, I too have to add mine. Thankfully I only ordered an item of fairly low value (£20) but am now having to pursue this through my credit card.

Item wasn't delivered. When I emailed I was provided a Royal mail tracking number, which Royal Mail informed me was fake when I contacted them. Emailed on a number of occasions asking for a refund and kept getting responses that it would take a few days. Now having to pursue it through my credit card.

Please, DO NOT order from this site.

No Refund Received Despite Told I Would Receive One

Ordered a rocking animal, website said was in stock, paid for it, few days later received email stating they could not get hold of it and I would be refunded. Nothing happened so contacted Aimee who said I should receive a refund in the next 2 weeks. Again nothing.

Emailed again but now no response

Avoid at all costs unless you like throwing money away.

Do not order from this company, I ordered a couple of items from them and have had to contact my bank to get my card refunded, they will say any thing to string you along, do not trust any thing they say. I am going to contact trading standards, I have no idea how this company are still up and running.

Non Delivery Of Goods & Disgraceful Service

order goods totaling over £309, stated on website that it was free delivery. i was contacted by the elusive Amie by email 2 days later asking for another £20 for delivery to Ireland, i replied by email stating that i did not live in Ireland but Northern Ireland which was part of Great Britain. Earlier that day i also received an email explaining that my delivery had also been delayed so in the email that i replied in, i asked for conformation of the delivery date. I never received a reply so on the thursday which was 4 days after ordering i still had not received any goods or response so i tried numerous times to contact them by telephone but just got a message service asking me to call back later. I tried again the following day & it took over 30 attempts to finally get put into a queue, & 20 mins holding before speaking to an advisor. She told me after checking, that my order has been dispatched the day prior & would be with me by Tuesday of the following wk. So 8 days after ordering i waited in all day & surprise surprise no delivery. Again i called, waiting for over 20mins to get through & on connection the call was promtly hung, so i called again, same thing. Frustrated i emailed not expecting a reply but did receive 1 explaining the order would be cancelled & money refunded in 2-6 days & a manager would call the following day at 9am. Guess what?? No call & i am still have not received my refund!!! I would not use Babyshop.co.uk ever. Their customer service is disgusting, & do nothing but lie to their customers.

Yeah! the same with me! I didnt recieve my delivery two times when they sad that have been dispatched but nothing! I asked for refund and they told me the refund issued and it will take 2-6 working days! Now have been 1 moth past and nothing! tried to call many times and no answers! the same with email!

Thieves Is More Appropriate

I really wish I had read reviews on this company before purchasing a stroller for over £107 way back in April. I was emailed the following day to say there was a delay and stock was due the end of the month which I collude wait for or receive a full refund. I agreed to wait as it was only two weeks.

I contacted them again at the beginning of may to be told in an email by Aimee that stock was on its way and I would be emailed as soon as it was shipped. Shipping email was sent on 16th may, left it a total of two weeks, still no stroller. Ontacted them again to be told there had been a mix up and I was to receive a full refund back onto my credit card, which should clear within 5 days, 10 days later still no refund so contacted them again, and was given a date funds would clear. Surprise surprise they didn't. Contacted them again and was told I could have a cheque sent instead. Agreed to that and the lovely Aimee once again assured me she would let the accounts team know and have it sent out the following day. A week later No cheque.

This time I rang and got no answer. Tried emailing again, no response. Rang again the following week, spoke to AIMEE who again said she would get it sent out that day and I would have it Saturday morning, or Monday at the latest. It is now Thursday and yes you have guessed it no refund.

These people seem to take your money with no stock or intention of refunds. They are a disgrace and need reporting. I am now looking into doing this.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!

Rip-off Merchants

Yes, I too, wish I'd read this before I'd ordered a car seat. I can't believe they have not been arrested for fraud yet. They took my payment on 8 June, gave me a delivery date, changed it at the last minute to the following week, then of course nothing arrived. Email from Aimee said she'd look into it then get back to me but she didn't. So I emailed asking for a refund, to which she replied it would be back on my credit card account within 2-6 days. That was 2 weeks ago, and I am still waiting. Cant get through to her by phone, and she doesn't answer my emails now. Hopefully Barclaycard will be able to help...
