Unpleasant Experience In Salisbury.
They came to quote for drain re-routing. The engineer said he’d send someone else as he wasn't sure of the problem but no one came. They blamed the engineer for failing to ask for a follow-up. They eventually sent someone who criticised his colleague. I never got the quote but they tried to charge me for the investigation. That was bad enough but the last engineer started a tirade about immigrants. I was shocked. I mentioned it to DynoRod but I've no idea if any action was taken as they've not been in contact since. I had a couple of sleepless nights afterwards as I was so upset that someone like this was sent to my home.

blocked sewage drain. Engineer cleared it within 15 mins advised on replacing old benching. Checked it's all working and was off within 30 mins! Fantastic service, Thank you!
Incapable Needs To Do A Apprenticeship
My first experience, was a leaking radiator pipe, the engineer burnt my wall, told me someone would phone me that was about 2 years ago,same engineer came to mend my sink waste overflow needed up making it worst had to pay another plumber to fix it third time, tap was dripping fixed it but pur the taps handles on back to front just giggled and said the installation must have been wrong in the first place didn't stop to amend it totally a nightmare everytime and we pay monthly for that service
Rude And Incapable Engineers
Been a member of BGS Homecare insurance for many many years .. always been really happy with service. This week, I'm not.
First, I have a RUDE engineer who arrives saying "god, this place is like a prison, who would want to live here" repeats that quite a bit. Sees the view, and says "oh, I get why you'd live here with that view, but I wouldn't live here otherwise" "when were the apartment blocks built?, oh 2006, yes shows, looked really shabby when I came in the entrance doors". Tells me the taps aren't leaking the cartridges on the taps are. Another plumber (not Dyno-Rod) calls out and says, no it's the washers in the taps and replaces them.
Second engineer, I think is just here to calm the situation, (not that I'm not calm). Arrives with no tools, telling me how lovely my apartment is and says he can't do the work involved as he can't reach taps, different taps to above.
So 2 Dyno-Rod engineers later and no work carried out.
Edit: 3rd time lucky. Had a lovely chap today. He was friendly, polite and efficient. Lovely new taps now installed :-)
3 Visits And Still Left With A Leak
Avoid avoid avoid british gas and dyno plumbing worse companies going had 3 visits two engineers couldn't be bothered to investigate and said sealant issue had this done even though there was no issue with it third visit stated leaking pipe cut ceiling out for no reason and left pipe leaking, any access dyno suppose to fix ceiling now they have refused to fix ceiling and the pipe and offered me £70 compensation to fix the issue which is going to cost me around £1000 to fix damages they have caused looks like i will be goinf through small claims court to get my money bacm for damages casued by them do not use these companies they have no experiance in plumbing and all young lads who have just left college. Customer service is appalling no help at all and very rude both british gas and dyno plumbing see you both in court.

Hi, just want to leave a honest review after I created an appointment for a blocked sink the gave an all day appointment, I waited in the house for 7 hours to be callback from the driver that there is no parking where to leave the car as they need to park in front of the house. My house door is it on the main road on wandsworth road! They told me If I am happy to pay for the fine If they get one.
Absolute Joke!
This company is useless !! will never use again, have no clue, 6th day I've taken off work now to be cancelled on again,shocking
Guarantee Is Void
I paid for Dynorod to unblock a sink, this cost £180 and comes with a 90day guarantee stated on the British Gas website. The sink reblocked within 2 weeks. I told them and they said this must be a new blockage and that the guarantee was null and void due to misuse as there was fat in the pipe. They provided no evidence of this and didn’t tell me at the time. I was told I would need to pay another £180 to get them back out. Two other plumbers stated that a sink cannot reblock within this short time if it had been properly unblocked in the first place unless cement or similar was continuously poured down it. The single, elderly man living there assured me he hardly even used the sink in this short period. The sink had never blocked before or since so why would a new blockage suddenly occur so soon? I believe him. Oil and fat are primary reasons sinks block.
A refund should be given as the service was not received and the guarantee was not honoured. Nowhere on the website does it say about oil in the pipe and nor was I told of this. I was never shown any evidence/ told of ‘misuse’. Sinks only block because of misuse by this token. If only water alone went down a sink it would NEVER block.
A guarantee is there for a reason and I expect is incorporated in the higher price of £180 for unblocking. I paid for a service which was never given and would like a refund as I had to pay another plumber to unblock it.
If the same problem occurs twice within a short time frame it is not a coincidence hence guarantees are given. This makes a mockery of that. If a leak occurs in a roof and is fixed and money is paid then two weeks later a leak is in the same place, it signals the problem was not fixed in the first place not that a new leak has occurred.
I was hoping I could let it lie but I just cannot for some reason especially as when I called to report the sink was still blocked in the first place I was spoken to so rudely. I keep trying to get over it but feel that the system is quite unjust and so can’t. I just want a refund for payment for a service I never received.
Don’t Bother
I spent days chasing my appointment, and trying to get somebody to return my call.
Kept promising an engineer would be with me soon, on day 4 of chasing, one finally turned up, to say he can’t do it for 2 weeks, and to call their competitor.
Terrible customer service, and wasted 4 days, and multiple calls, only to be sent an employee that refused the job.
Don't Go Anywhere Near This Company
Shockingly appalling service - engineer attended my property and left my driveway in the most horrendous state, completely covered in sewage - see Google for photos. Having failed to unblock the drain he left site without even calling me, as agreed, to discuss what had happened. Fareham office showed no interest in apologising or trying to sort the issue and then still tried to charge for the service. Took a local contractor 5 minutes to unblock the drain and a further 4 HOURS to pressure wash my front step, car and driveway the following day. DO NOT USE
