Relocate Removal Company Limited Removals

I was weary about using this company, because of some of the reviews I had read on this page, but the chap who came to see me seemed very reasonable - as did his price. I chose to use them in the end by trusting my good will, and was absoutely delighted with the service. I have already recommended them to a friend and a member of my family - who are just about to move with this company.

Having spoken to the manager and thanked him for moving us, he did advise that they had, had a clean out of 'bad apples' at the firm, employees who weren't respecting his customers - and it looks like is has had a massive effect on the quality of service because we were delighted.

I'd highly recommend Relocate Removal Co to anyone looking for a quality and careful removal firm.

This firm recently moved our home and stored a large amount of propert for a couple of months. Among those stored items were three boxes of alcohol. On the day of the moveone of the staff pointed out three boxes were opended and encouraged us to check them. There were three reasonably nice bottles of single malt whisky missing. When I complained about this the owner told me that as these had not been individually itemised when put in storage they had no liability. This is I am sure perfectly legally correct but given I had spent in excess of £2000 with the firm to have no gesture of good will or concern about their staffs behaviour is dissapointing.

I have since seen other reviews abotu this firm on Google Reviews where others have had property stolen.

Whilst individual staff are great there are clearly problems in this company. I woudl not reccomend and not use in future. if you do them make sure you list every item you give to them as they will use it against you as they did me.

Avoid

They sent a Luton Van to move contents of 3 bed house...Called the manager only to be told "Sorry mate, I can't help you" I can get another Luton but it will cost you? They know you have to pay up so I ended up coughing up an extra £400. This is not a company!! Avoid at all cost..........do your research, pay that little extra and find a professional company.

They are theives! Don't use please, awful company!

Relocate Removals moved us on 07.11.11, and we found them an extremely professional company. They packed and unpacked all items without any problems and the whole experience was painless.

The office staff were excellent, very curteous and nothing was too much trouble for them, even when I called re things I had forgotten to ask about.

Bill Conlon (Manager) shoud be very proud the way his staff conduct themselves in and out of the office, and portray the company.

We have no hesitation in recommending this Company to friends and family.

We have BIG regrets hiring this company to look after our move.

After breaking the glass on a large painting, they told us that they will send us a form to fill out to claim back the repair cost (which was £30). After a week of waiting for this, we then find out that this is incorrect and they denyed it. After unpacking we discovered they 'mislaid' 8x mirrored panels of our wardrobe door which they say they know nothing about. So thats a £600 wardrobe gone to waste and gone to the tip.

Terrible company, I wouldnt trust them with anything. Although they did seem pleasant on the day. Ruined the whole moving experience and happiness of our new home. Find a good company and ASK THEM ABOUT REPAIRS BEFORE YOU BOOK THEM!

They turned up at the correct address and took our contents to to correct new address, Thats THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THEM. I would never ever use them again. They are only interesred in themselves and they damaged/smashed a few of our items. if you read the TERMS & CONDITIONS, the small print is ******* ******. I was delayed getting to my new home by about 2 hours, due to heatlh reasons, They charged me a LOT of money extra because of it.

The real thing to watch out for with Relocate Removal (http://www.relocateremoval.co.uk/) would be the terms and conditions for damages. Basically, 'you' are responsible for the first £500 of any damage to any single item - so they break it you pay for it! It seems to me that the bulk of your possessions could be damaged but and you would end up paying for most of it. The guys that did the removals were ok but lacked some basic expereince/common sense, for example by walking through wet/muddy grass instead of using the perfectly good concrete path. Meant that they dragged a load of mud into my flat and I had to spend the night cleaning it all. Also they didn't turn-up with all the packaging needed to do the job - Apparently they were not told about the additional material needed for the move. Perhaps I should have reviewed the T&C's better - but the lesson learned will be to never use Relocate again.
