Fusion Buffet, Northhampton

I visited Fusion around about 3 weeks ago, I was greeted and taken to my table there was a group of 12 of us. The manager seated us and gave us our drinks menus then explained how it worked, then our drinks order was taken and they offer free re-fills on the soft drinks which is great if your not going out afterwards and you can work out how much you are going to spend straight away. The food was piping hot and alot of choice too, the only downside was that some was running low by the time some of our party got to the food but the manager offered to cook some off fresh for us and the chef brought it to our table! The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere about it, although I would say if you were coming for a quiet meal on the weekend this isn't the place for you, very lively but great atmosphere, suited for groups. The service was un-hurried and felt calm, we didn't feel afraid to ask if we didn't know something. Overall we thought Fusion was great the only downside is there wasn't somewhere we could go before / after our meal for a drink.

Excellent food and decor. great atmosphere and very helpful staff. Extremely good value for money. We all like different cuisines and Fusion caters for this. We can now go out in a group to the same restaurant.Car parking, location idealWe were able to get a drink in the Fuse Bar in the basement before our meal.

Went to fusion last night. The food was really tasty and fresh even though it is a buffet. There was a great range to choose from, something to suit everyone from chineese, indian and mexican to roast beef and veg and the desserts are absolutely fantastic. I would really reccomend this to anyone

Review of Fusion World Buffet, Northampton.

Visited this restaurant with group of friends on a Friday Night. 1st impressions were good, decor and ambience were nice (except the bouncers on the door felt a bit strange, but hey - ho).

Took a while to be seated at our table (which had been pre-booked but was not set when we arrived) and as we were a big group we were left standing at the bar which did not have any space around it so we blocked off the entrance for everyone else.

The table we were given had far too many chairs for the space available, we were elbow to elbow and only a few inches from the next table, making getting in and out difficult. As this is a restaurant where you need to get up to get your food, this should really be addressed.

The bar man was slow, forgot to give us one of the drinks he'd prepared, and the drinks were expensive (£4 for a small lemonade and half a pint of cider)

The food was nicely laid out, however the plates are kept warm in a plate warmer and we all burnt our hands as they were very hot and there was nothing to help hold them with (e.g. napkins?)

We were in there for around 2 hours, and i did not see any of the food trays replaced, just topped up, with more food on top, so i was concerned at how long some of the food had sat there keeping warm.

Also, the bill we were given had drinks on that we didn't order (cocktails?!?) and they gave us an incorrect bill (overcharged) 3 times.

Plates were whipped away before you've put down your fork and the staff looked miserable and nothing was explained to us about the concept etc (apparently there are special items you can order, but we didn't know).

You can eat all you like, theres a big range of stuff on offer and the desserts were really nice.

But Overall, I would not go back here and I would not take or recommend to friends.

great dining experience.different to other buffet restaurants. this is a very upclass buffet at very affordable price.staff is very attentive and food looks so fresh. gooooood value for money

Funtastic. Food,service,atmosphere is far better than everybody else. Food quality is probably better than few speciality restaurants.Service is to the detail and not pushy. Is a great value for money. Restaurant is very clean and toilets as well.

Great venue, really good food, excellent service and value for money.

Well worth a visit!
