Three Glens Restaurant, Moniaive, Thornhill

I tottaly disagree with the comment about the take away pizzas i have had take away pizzas from the 3 glens before including the sea food pizza and it has been first class and if anything has been wrong they have put it right no questions asked. The three glens is a great reastraunt and we are lucky to have such a place in such a small place as Moniaive. Along with the green tea house and the Craigdarroch it makes moniaive one of the best places to come for a meal in dumfries and galloway.

I ate here recently as one of a large family group. Many of us are vegetarian and i wanted to applaud the three glens for catering to everyones individual needs. Staff were happy to tweak the menu to make it meat free and we had a lovely evening. I found the pizza I ordered was delicious and I know my family will be back again soon.

Shockingly poor service, we ordered four pizzas to take away, 2 being sea food, which my partner and colleage were really looking forward to, after having several good sea food pizzas in the past at other restaurants. The pizzas we inedible, they were unbearibly salty (you expect sea food to be salty but not like this!) The mussels had not been washed as they had sand and grit in them, when we phoned to inform the restaurant of this the woman couldn't get us off the phone fast enough, clearly was not interested, shockingly poor customer service. They really need to learn how to deliver customer service to keep customers happy and to keep local customers. Being an owner of a local business, delivering experience days using local restaurants for lunch this is not one that we will be using, even though it is one of the nearest. If you are looking for a good meal in Moniave then the Green Tea room of the George Hotel are an excellent choice. I would not recommend this restaurant.

This is one of the best restaurants i've ever been.I'm from Malta and the chef is maltese too.He's a good chef with experience so if you like to eat italian and mediterranean food i recommended to you.

This is one of the best resturants i have ever been to and i have been to a lot.The maltise chef is fantastick 10/10
