I recently purchased a Fiat 500L from ASD. The whole experience from start to finish was refreshingly positive and straightforward. The salesperson was friendly and polite without being overbearing. The car I purchased was a very good price compared to others of the same make, model and year that I'd looked at in other dealerships. I was also very happy with the price given for part exchange on my previous car. This is a small dealership where you won't find a sleek forecourt or a comfy customer lounge. But also you won't find hidden costs like charges for administration or preparation of the vehicle as can often be found in the very large supermarket style dealerships. You will find a straightforward, honest business which I would be happy to recommend to others.

I phoned up about an Astra GTC and spoke to someone. He was exceptionally rude and didn't want to discuss this car with me. I wouldn't ever buy a car from them! The customer service is terrible, I said I would put a deposit on the car and collect it in a couple of weeks and he ddint like the idea of this. He is clearly on another planet and I've never spoken to someone as rude as him. AVOID

Buying a used car can be scary, where to go and who do you trust. I can honestly say that I feel that I have found the perfect garage. As mentioned in another review, there is no fancy showroom, but this isn't necessary. I purchased an 11 plate Astra from ASD, negotiated a trade in for my own vehicle and paid a deposit whilst the car was readied for collection. The car was serviced, cam belt changed, water pump changed and fully cleaned before being handed over to myself. I was so happy, the sale went so smoothly, couldn't believe everything went so well. A day later I found a slight fault with the car, rang the owner and he said "pop it over and we'll have a look."

Not only did they look, they found an issue with one of the glow plugs. To save me hassle they changed all four glow plugs the control plug module and auxiliary belt. No charge, no problems and even offer a lift to the local shops whilst they did it or a courteous vehicle if we wanted to go home.

What people need to remember is that these are used cars, things may go wrong, it's inevitable, but what's important is that these people will put it right. I must say that I will definately use these people again and would recommend them to anyone.

If you are considering a used car then definately give this garage a chance, quality cars at quality prices and the customer service is something you would expect from a main dealer after purchasing a new car. Thanks

Visited asd to view a fiat 500 was very impressed with vehicle, viewed car documents and history happy with this I decided to go for a test drive which was very pleasurable as there was no hard sales talk, with this i decided to purchase the vehicle. Very pleased with vehicle, will tell friends about this impressive dealership.

I traveled by train to see and hopefully collect a car on which I had placed a deposit. The car was not as described as it was dirty , faded paintwork, and it had covered almost 5000 more miles than advertised!!! I had trusted this dealer who said he would refund my deposit but would do it when he had "got time". As the owner was becoming really angry and aggressive I knew I would get nowhere so left. All of my attempts to contact him have been ignored, so..... be warned!!!

bought the car two weeks ago and couldn't be happier, drove up from South Wales as I was offered a full refund of my deposit if I wasn't happy with the car. The car had a squeaky fan belt and it was changed immediately the car was better than described clean tidy and well presented. You won't find a fancy showroom but you won't pay fancy showroom prices but what you will find are great cars at bargain prices. Many thanks

We just wanted to say thank you for selling us a decent car this year. Having bought 2 cars from other dealers that turned out to be absolute wrecks (from dealers who were far too eager for the sell), your company really was a breath of fresh air. The car has been superb and drives fantastically. You were really honest when it came to selling, telling my partner before he had noticed about some rust on the brakes, and offering to fix the radio aerial. And even better, it has just passed its MOT with no advisories! Brilliant!

I saw a car on their website I was interested in and went along prepared to do a deal if they gave me a fair PX for my car. I have a 56 plate Honda Civic diesel in good condition which I have been offered 2,500 and 2,600 at 2 other garages PX. A very surly man told me they didn't have the car in stock yet I had gone to view but he would take my details and call me when they had it, he made no eye contact at all took me into his office and started to search for a price for my car online, after a long silent 10/15 mins he told me they would offer 800/1000 pounds for my car, I have to say I am female and was alone, did he think I was stupid ! He then sent a mechanic to look at my car who sat in it and twiddled the radio button then said best price a grand. I said are you having a laugh to which surly man said ''do you still want me to call you when the car comes in''..... I said no and good luck, I would rather run my own car into the ground before I would have one from this garage and there are plenty of trustworthy garages around who treat people and especially lone women with manners and do not insult their intelligence. Please avoid this garage and especially their trade in deals !

My Ford Focus was in fact better than described (actually immaculate) and very well priced. I couldn't find cheaper from any other dealer for the age and mileage, and none of the other cars were as well maintained mechanically and decoratively. Given the other reviews perhaps I got lucky but I found them totally honest, straightforward and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone with the caveat that it is worth inspecting the car carefully as what you see is what you get. The brakes on mine will need replacing soon and they werent really interested in addressing but that was reflected in the price. I am 100% happy with my experience.

I needed a reliable, good value car for my daughter. ASD was recommended to me by a friend and I wasn't disappointed. The manager was knowledgable about the cars and helpful. The RAC warranty gave me that extra peace of mind. She has been really pleased with her new car.
